6-June 14 (birthday!)

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to youuuuu happy birthday to Breee happy birthday to youuuuuuuu!" My sisters sang waking me up.  

Today was my 16th birthday, and it also happened to be the last day of school.  This school year has been great, and so much more fun than most years.  But I was still very ready for summer to start. I went downstairs and my mom and stepdad were in the kitchen. "Happy birthday Bree!" my mom said, she came over and hugged me tight.

When I arrived at school, my friends were waiting in the lobby area. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BREE!" They all shouted, hugging me. "Thanks, guys!"

We walked to my locker and there was a happy birthday sign on it as well as a bunch of little birthday notes.  Everywhere I went at school people were wishing me a happy birthday. Since it was the last day of school we didn't have any real schoolwork everyone was just signing each other's yearbooks and we watched movies in almost every class.

In science, I didn't have any of my 3 best friends but it was still super fun because I had made new friends, we were watching the little mermaid, which made me miss the land of stories so much. I was sitting by my friends Oliver, Daniella, and gabby.  Oliver had blond hair and pale skin,  Daniella had dark brown hair and green eyes, and gabby had dark skin and dark curly hair in braids. The four of us were sitting at a table eating hot Cheetos and candy that people had got me for my birthday,  we were talking and having fun.  When the bell rang and it was time to go home I was honestly kind of sad, we promised each other we would still hang out during the summer. 

After hugging and saying goodbye to a bunch of people it was time to go home.  Ethan got in my car, because we always picked up our sisters and drove home together. We drove to the elementary school, Ella and Maya hopped in the car, "Happy Birthday!," they both said and handed me cards with drawings of flowers and hearts. "Aww, thank you!"

As I was driving home my mom texted me and asked if I could pick up some orange juice from the store. I thought it was strange but didn't mind, so I stopped at the store and Ethan, Ella, Maya, and I went inside.

I got the orange juice but then Ella had to go to the bathroom. When Ella finally came out of the bathroom Ethan got into the longest line to checkout, he said it was because this was his favorite line, I thought he was just trying to be annoying. Then when we we're finally leaving the store, Maya had to go to the bathroom.  It had been 45 minutes before we even left the store. Just to buy some orange juice!

An hour had passed and we were at my driveway, "Stop!, we need to go back I forgot my phone at the store." Ethan yelled . I was very annoyed, but I didn't wanna make a big deal about it so I turned around and drove back to the store, to save time I just had Ethan get out and grab his phone and we would wait in the car.

Ethan took at least, 20 minutes in the store. As we were driving home my mom called me and asked me to get medicine from the store for my sister because she was feeling very sick, At that point, I was very mad and just wanted to go home but I felt bad for my sister so I turned around ran into the store got medicine and drove home.

"Wait Bree,"

"NO! Im going inside."  I opened the door and the light turned on...

"SURPRISE! Happy birthday!!" Everyone yelled. All my friends were there, even my cheerleading team. "I'm sorry, about the store I just needed to keep you away from home so everyone could get here."Ethan explained. "It's fine, this is the best surprise party ever!"

This was the best birthday!

**update- I was just rereading worlds collide and turns out Bree was already 16 and this is supposed to take place after and that doesn't make sense that she's just now turning 16 so oops, anyway thanks for reading have a good day!
