The Life of Julie Swan Book III

Chapter One

I sat on the bathroom toilet seat lid in a gas station in Port Angeles staring at the white and pink stick in my shaky hands. I haven't been feeling well for a little while and today I decided to take the test. The stick in my hands showed a pink plus sign. I can't believe it. Bella was waiting on the other side of the door for me.

I shakily stood up clutching the test in my hand and wash my hands before drying them and walking out the door. I look at Bella with teary eyes.

"I'm pregnant." I whisper.

Bella pulls me into a tight hug. "Are you sure?" She whispered against my shoulder.

"Honestly I don't know but the test says otherwise." I say. "Let's head to Forks Hospital and pay Carlisle a little visit." 

I shoved the test in my pocket and we head out the store and into Bella's truck.

We walk into the hospital and Nurse Becky smiled at us. "Hello, Julie here to see Carlisle?"

"Yes please." I say.

"Wait in his office." She replied. "I'll page him."

I lead Bella through the halls towards Carlisle's office. I check the door it was locked so I type in the passcode and we entered sitting down in the chairs in front of his desk. 

"I'm not even going to question how you know the passcode to his door." Bella chuckled.

"Well I do shadow him for the remainder of the school year." I laughed.

The door opened and Carlisle stepped in setting manilla folders on his desk before sitting down in front of us.

"What do I have the pleasure of this visit?" He asked with a smile.

I nervously smiled grabbing the test out of my pocket and hand it to him. He took it and looked at it wide eyed.

"You want to be sure before anything?" He asked and I nodded. 

Carlisle gave me a kind smile and stood up. "Follow me."

We stood up and followed Carlisle through the halls towards an empty room. He patted with sturrups. I sigh hopping up and leaning back Carlisle dims the lights before lifting my shirt up. Carlisle squirted gel on my belly before taking the wand running it across my abdomen. My eyes widen as I saw something. 

Carlisle points to the screen of the little thing. "That's your baby." 

"What?" I whisper tears in my eyes.

"It seems to be more human and very little vampire." He says. "You seem to be almost two months pregnant." 

"The only night I have sex and I end up pregnant." I groaned with a laugh.

"I'm going to be an Aunt." Bella gasped. 

"And Charlie, Carlisle and Phil are going to be grandpas." I smirked at Carlisle.

He chuckled handing me the pictures he printed off and a paper towel. I wipe my belly and hopped off the bed. Pulling out my phone and calling Jasper.

"Hello, dove." He says. 

"I need to talk to you." I say. "Will you pick me up from the hospital?"

"Is everything okay?" Jasper asked quickly.

"Yes, Jazz." I chuckled. "Everything is great."

"I'll be there in about two minutes." he says and I could hear his smirk.

"Love you." I smiled.

"Love you." He replied and I hung up. 

Bella and I head out the hospital and I hid the pictures in my jacket. As we stepped outside I spotted Jasper leaning against his car. I gave Bella a smile before walking to him. He pulled me to him pressing a kiss to my lips before he opened the door for me. I climb in and buckle up as he shut the door. Once he got in I turn to him.

"Don't hate me." I whisper before laying the pictures in his hand.

Jasper stared at them silently.

"Carlisle says it seems to be mostly human with very little vampire." I whispered. 

Jasper grinned leaning over and kissing me before laying his hand on my tummy. I giggled happily.

"We got to tell dad." I say and Jasper looked terrified. "Don't worry honey your bullet proof."

We pulled up outside my home and I climb out along with Jasper. He took my sweaty hand in his and we walk up the sideway to the house. I glance around and groan noticing Jake and Billy were here. Taking a deep breath we enter the house. The game was playing in the living room. I lead Jasper to the living room and anxiously stood by dad's chair. Billy and Jake both looked up at the same time as dad.

"Sweetheart what's wrong?" Dad asked.

"Daddy don't hate me or Jasper it was an accident." I say quietly causing dad to mute the tv.

I hand him the pictures before clutching onto Jasper's hand so tight that my knuckles turned white. I waited as he stared a the picture.

"What is this?" He asked.

"My baby." I say quietly. "I'm pregnant daddy." 

My eyes widen as dad's eyes rolled back and he went white slumping in the chair. 

"Daddy!" I cried out smacking his cheek gently.

Jasper grabbed his wrist checking his pulse. I anxiously wait and Jasper smiled quietly.

"He just passed out." Jasper says. "I think from shock."

I sigh in relief before turning to Billy and Jake. "I just know your wondering. Carlisle says its mostly human very little vampire." 

They nodded and I felt the urge to vomit and ran to the kitchen emptying my stomach contents into the sink. Morning Sickness my ass.
