A friendly stranger

You wake up in the morning, Your eyes slowly adjusting to the light from the windows, You sit up rubbing your eyes, the smell of breakfast fills the room, you look around to see it is not your house, you look down at your foot and arms, all wrapped in bandages, you stand up a pain in your foot shooting though your whole body, You look down to see your foot you weren't able to that night, you see it was just a sprain, You sigh with relief, and walk to the door opening it, you walk down the hall looking at the gorgeous house made out of the beautiful wood, You reach the end of the hall to see a man,

cooking breakfast he has no shirt on his long yellow hair with red tips covering his shoulders, his body muscular, a few scars on his back, You blush feeling the heat on your face, while you stare at his handsome body, you don't notice he has turned to look at you, "Good morning!!" The man says in a happy and loud voice, You shake your head and look at his gorgeous eyes, "G-good morning s-sir" you give an awkward smile, He smiles and turns fully showing his abs and his muscular chest, You turn around, Your face Turing red as a cherry, "How are you feeling!" He asks walking up to you putting a shirt one in the process,

"You were asleep for two days! I hope you are well rested!" Shock flys though your body "TWO DAYS?!" You yell not meaning to and cover your mouth looking up at him "I apologize.." He laughs and pats your head, "It is alright!!" You look around "My parents are gonna kill me!" You run around trying to find your stuff and putting it on in a hurry, the man setting a plate on the table with, a omelet on it, "Come sit!!" His booming voice echoing though the house,

you walk up to him and sit down you look at him, "I'm so sorry I have to go.." you look at the food and can't help but almost droll from the smell. "Please! Eat some food before you go!" He smiles handing you a fork him waiting for you to grab it from his hands, You look at the fork and smile grabbing it and eating the breakfast he had so kindly made for you, Once finished you look up at him, he smiled and looks you in the eyes, his eyes so bright and full of life, "Did you enjoy it?" He says with a smile tilting his head to the side, "Y-yes I did you are a very good cook! Thank you so much uh-" You look at him not knowing his name,

"Rengoku!" He says with a smile, You smile back "Thank you Mr, Rengoku" he smiles and grabs your plate washing it, "What is your name dear?" He says smiling, You blush slightly, "U-Um my name is Y/N" you say stumbling on your words, He smiles looking back at you, "It is very nice to meet you Y/N!, Now let's get you home shall we!" He puts his hands on his hips and has a bright smile, making you feel safe and peaceful, You stand up and smile back at him, You both walk out the door into the forest,

the sun piercing though the leafs of the trees, You can hear the birds and the leafs move in the wind, the gravel beneath both of your feet, crunching with ever step, you look up at Rengoku, he was looking forward with a smile his hair flowing in the wind, he looks down at you and pats your head, "something wrong?" He pats your head and walks off into the forest disappearing into the tree line, You watch him disappear and give a soft smile, you look back at your house and you gulp clenching your fist, you walk up to the back door and open it, slowly your father waiting for you there, With a bottle of alcohol in his hand he, He walks up to you and grabs you by your hair, "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN YOUNG LADY?!?" He yells looking you dead in the eyes, His dark blue eyes, dull and almost lifeless, "I'm sorry!! I got lost and hurt when I was looking for spices for dinner!!"

You lie trying to pull his hand off your hair, "Please father let go!!" Your eyes begin to fill with tears as he looks at you with a cold face, He drops you and slaps you cold in the face, leaving a red hand print on your cheek, it stinging you look up at him tears in your eyes, "CLEAN THIS DARN HOUSE UP BEFORE YOUR MOTHER GETS HOME, YOU HEAR ME?!" You nod and stand up holding your cheek and begin to clean around the house your body still shaking from what just happened and what happened last night, You Finnish right before your mother comes in, she looks at you and sighs, walking to the other room,

You feel tears run down your cheeks and walk upstairs and look out the window again watching the sun set on the trees and the large mountains not to far away, You change your clothes and begin to sew your, ripped clothes up, you put them back on and wait for your parents to argue again or fall asleep, you still hold your cheek in pain, now just a red mark left on your face, your parents fighting once again you climb down trough the woods window, the moon just barley rising up from behind the mountains, You walk down the gravel path and you see him,

Rengoku standing there with his arms crossed and his warm smile, You can't help but tear up and walk up to him resting your head on his chest, He surprisingly opens his arms and holds you in a hug, resting his head on yours his yellow and red hair falling down from his shoulders as he hugs you, "What is wrong, Y/N?" He says in a worried voice lifting up your chin so he can look at you, He notices the red mark on your cheek and rubs it with his thumb, "What happened?" He said in a more serious tone, "It's nothing.. just my father.." You look him in the eyes blushing at the way he is holding you now, He looks back at the house and frowns his eyes no longer warm and welcoming, He picks you up and smiles, Come on I have somewhere to show you!!
