| NOTE: It's second year of Grand Magic Games for Fairy Tail but the Second are going to be like the first in Anime, the first one are not important for story and I need it like this, Thanks For Your Attention! |

After some hours, when the blond was finally awake, they went back to their city, thanking the elder for his help.

They sat in train while explaining to Laxus what happened and telling him about the money. The blond mage nodded slightly in acknowledgement still a little beaten and tired from the fight. He listened to his friends talk while looking at the view through the window in silence, hoping it would help with the headache and pretending that he didn't see the curious glances.

After some hours they finally arrived to Magnolia and walked straight to their guild.

The walk was more silent than before, no one dared to say anything seeing that Laxus was more irritated than before but, despite it, it was nice and not so awkward. And even though it was clear that they were worried about their friend, you could easily see the happiness on their faces - thankful to the old men for the little raise they got.

"We are back!" Bickslow was the first one to shout as he entered the guild with his team behind.

"Welcome back!" Everyone said and they threw off for a party, like always, they would always find a reason for a party.

"How was the Quest?" Mira asked kindly, walking to them with drinks as they walked a little closer to the woman. The trio thanked her happily and made their way to others to party with them, all of them in a good mood. Evergreen silently went to Elfman with a want to tell him about their mission, at least that was her excuse every time she did so, with hot cheeks.

"You know, as always" Laxus said, taking his own drink and shrugging a little which was a bad idea because it made him to hiss in pain but then he sighed deeply - knowing well that he couldn't lie to her or himself anymore "It was a shitty job, you know? And it's literally spinning in my head all the time. We fought with that monster or god knows what and I knocked him and myself out at the same time" he said painfully, making the white haired woman laugh.

Mira put a hand on his shoulder, trying to ease the pain a little and make him more relaxed by rubbing it a little.

"Just be more careful next time. And please go get some rest, you look exhausted" she smiled a little with that warm eyes as she took her hand away, leaving the man that only murmured in response but went to his house, because after all she was right and he was barely standing on his legs because of the sleep deprivation.

But he couldn't stop thinking about the mission, especially about the strange forest and that scent. It was the first time he was mad at himself and the lack of sleep that made him less focused and his senses to worsen a little.

He needed to change that.

———————

Every day went like this, the days eventually became months and they changed to a whole year, and still there was nothing new. Maybe only Laxus' sleep schedule had improved and he wasn't looking that bad.

The guild stayed the same, maybe becoming a little more loud again. He wasn't sure if it's good or bad.

And even if he got more sleep now, his head was always hurting, he wasn't sure what was the cause, but he only hopped it wasn't because of that one mission. But, at some point, he was glad that everything was going back to normal.

He also, very recently, started talking more with the "Team Natsu" because he noticed that they were also suffering, probably as much as he was. They weren't talking about Natsu, of course, but they found much more things to talk about, surprisingly having more in common than they thought. They even went on missions together sometimes and it was fun, Laxus really was enjoying their company, understanding now why Natsu liked them so much.
