You shook your head to yourself in disappointment as you saw the castle come into view. It was mostly a silent ride to it as there wasn't much to talk about.

The draw bridge was already down as you rode through the gate. You saw a few people with all sorts of jewels and rich clothing eye you for a little before whispering to each other.

The cart took a halt as the back of it was opened. You already stood up as you saw a guard already glaring at you. You jumped down as he immediately took hold of your arm while dragging you to where you assumed the cells were.

You noticed two girls watching you with confused looks as you avoided their stares, a sad look on your face as you walked into a cold and slightly dark room. There was another guard seated at a small table as he looked questionable at the guard who was escorting you.

"What did this one do?" He asked as he pointed at you. Pretty rude, you thought.

"This is the thief who stole the prince's gold this morning." The first guard explained while undoing your handcuffs.

"But I didn't do it, I swear!" You chimed in as you felt the escorting guard push you towards the prison one, who gave you a side-eye.

"Yeah right. Tell that to the prince." The first guard left the prison as the other pushed you into the cell at the end.

"Make the most of it, cus this is the only luxury you're gonna get." The guard laughed as he locked the door of your cell before walking away.

You sighed to yourself as you seated yourself on the 'bed' that hung against the wall. You noticed the tiny window in the middle of the cell as you looked at the sky. You hoped you'd get out of here.

"Hmm." Scarlett hummed as she eyed the new prisoner being escorted to the cells.

"Is it me or do they look quite...innocent?" Marian said as she eyed Scarlett who looked at the sheriff who was making his way towards the castle's entrance.

"I don't know, but we'll find out what they did." Scarlett said before making her way to the sheriff, Marian following her suit.

"Oh, sheriff!" Marian chimed in as she smiled sweetly at the obese guy.

"Yes, lady Marian? Is there something you need?" He asked her as she eyed Scarlett with a knowing look.

"I just saw the new prisoner come through and I just couldn't help my curiosity to know what cruel crime they did." Marian dramatically told the sheriff as his eyes widened a little.

"Oh." He rubbed his neck as he thought about you.

"They're the thief that stole the prince's gold this morning. We caught them good as they were struggling in an alleyway!" The sheriff stated proudly as Marian and Scarlett shared a confused look.

"But sheriff, didn't the guards say that the thief was bigger and more to older age? The description of the thief doesn't match this person at all." Scarlett stated in disbelief as the sheriff tensed up at the fact. She was actually right.

Then he eyed the guards who had the belongings of the thief as he snapped his fingers towards it.

"But they did wear the same hat the thief wore! There are also a few sacks missing. So it has to be them." The sheriff stated before taking his hat off for a moment.
