Bill is very possessive over "his Pine Tree." He constantly makes sure people know Dipper is his, holding him closely, and putting his arm around him, giving people threatening looks when they act too friendly or affectionately to him. If Dipper is out on his own, Bill will watch over, to make sure no one tries to flirt with him.
