[You can not trust anyone]

Those were his mother's last words.

[Baby... that's the only way you can live]

Edrick blinked slowly as he came back from his hazy consciousness.

Only the sound of rain was heard in his dark room.

In addition, he dreamed of his mother. Due to his agitation, his servant looked louder than usual.

"Thirst..."

As he woke up, he searched around him.

However, since he had thrown away all his things, his servants had not left any jugs of water in his room.

There used to be a line of servants at his
side, but he felt overwhelmed that they
worshiped him as a god, so he cast them
out.

He closed his eyes and forced himself to
sleep.

But unconsciously a groan came out of mouth.

"Can I get you some water?"

'Now I'm hearing hallucinations...! A sigh escaped his lips.

But in an instant, a liquid flowed from his mouth.

'This is great... a little more...'

Instinctively, he opened his mouth wider and tried to drink the water.

Although he opened his mouth wider, the water flows the same.

While frowning in frustration, he hear a reassuring voice.

"Don't be sad, come on, the water won't run away from you. Slow down, take it"

The voice he was hearing felt so real.

'So who is giving me a drink...? I said to
remove all the servants before '

As he raised his heavy eyelids, he saw someone.

A skinny boy his own age.

As he slowly raised his eyelids, he saw well-combed hair.

Only one name came to his mind.
"... Robell?"

Robell didn't quite understand why his words were buried under the sound of the rain.

As he made his way to the window, he quickly turned around.

"Yes, Robell is here. Can I help you with something?"

You could see a slight joy on his face and his slightly raised corners.

Edrick was stumped.

He had just said his name without thinking, but no other words occurred to him.

Even if he was angry as usual, he couldn't remember the harsh words, probably because he was half asleep.

After a silence, Robell inclined his head as if he understood.

His smile still lingered on his lips.

"Call me if you think you need something"

' Are you going to leave me?'

But it was lucky.

The place where Robell disappeared was not outside the room, but behind a long curtain.

'Why does he do that...?'

Was he trying to clean something there? While watching curiously, Robell shifted a little.

"Then, have sweet dreams master"

After saying goodbye, he pretended to leave the room naturally.

Robell, hiding behind the curtains, did not show a hair.
