The terror in your eyes could be seen as he was walking your way. Chan started fidgeting trying to move towards you, unsuccessfully. The Devil kneeled in front of you, putting his index finger under your chin and raising your head, making you look right into his dark eyes. "You disappointed me." He said with a voice that was deeper than the ocean. You recognized anger in his voice. You knew he was stronger than you and that he has all power over you. But you weren't going to give him the satisfaction of submitting yourself to him that easily. So you decided to talk back. "I don't care about you. I love him and you can't change that." He chuckled. His dark, tall figure stood up. Horns were glistening on his head when he spoke up. "Bold, aren't we?" You scoffed and refused to look in his direction again. He kicked you with his foot so you had no choice but to raise your head, while blood started running down your nose. You heard Chan shouting behind him. "Don't touch her!! Stop it!" He didn't even spare a glance in the direction where Chan's voice was coming from. He lowered himself at your level again. "Look at me while I'm talking to you. It would be really nice to me right now if I was you." He said while grinning widely at you. You spit in his face to erase that grin. He brushed your saliva away and his gaze got darker. You really managed to piss him off. "You will regret this." He said and you smiled at him.

He rolled his eyes, finally acknowledging Chan who was yelling the whole time. "You could have at least found someone less annoying." He approached Chan grabbing his face, admiring the scar that was still shining under his right eye. "I like how it looks on you. Does it hurt?" Chan stayed silent, but when the Devil touched the scar he screamed. The scream was unbearable for you to listen to, you couldn't even imagine the pain he was going through. The Devil laughed. "So it does hurt. Good. Now look behind you. Your wings are no longer white and shiny. They are becoming black. You know what that means right?" You heard every single word. And while Chan still refused to look in the Devil's eyes, you knew exactly what it meant. He is no longer an angel. He is becoming a demon. The scar is just the mark for everyone to know he wasn't one when he was born.

The Devil stood up. "Let's see what both of you have done. Shall we?" After that you felt sharp pain go through your head. Moments after you were standing on the street of the city where you lived in. The Devil was next to you and you heard Chan standing next to him. You were looking at your own figures. But it felt like you lived through this scenario before. "Yes you were here before. This is the day both of you met. First day of you two being paired up." The Devil spoke up and let you watch.

The day you two met, 8 months ago

You waited for that stupid angel to finally show up. You had your first assignment and he was already late. You decided not to wait for him and just go and do something he will have to fix. You went to the nearest high school. Since you were invisible, it was easy for you to move around. You made a couple of students start a fight, some stole other's money, and one girl bullied her friend. It was all great fun for you and while you were laughing at how miserable humans actually are, you heard someone clearing his throat behind you. You turned to him and saw how annoyed he was. "Oh hello. You must be that angel who is already late. How was your name again? Chan?" You laughed and he approached you, getting in your face. "Yes, that's me. And I am not late. I came here just in time. We were supposed to meet and talk but you already made a mess." Dang.. He smelled good. And you would lie if you said that his facial features weren't attractive. You smiled "Oh well, looks like I was early then. Too bad for you I guess. Aaand since it's already past lunch time, I will go grab something to eat. Would you like to come with me?" You then looked behind yourself at the mess you caused. "Oh wait.. I just remembered.. You can't." You mocked him and laughed. "Good luck Chan." You turned around and fled away. He sighed and went to fix all the problems you caused.

Days, weeks went by. You annoyed him the whole time. Six months later, you started to feel sorry. You felt bad for doing all of that to him. He looked exhausted. He was nice towards you even though you were making his life miserable. You were attracted to him and he looked like he was attracted to you as well. After a while, sexual attraction between both of you was getting harder and harder to avoid.

One day you decided to rest and didn't do anything. He came to you even though he didn't have to. His excuse? He said he wanted to spend some time with you. He brought you some food. You both had a long conversation together. After that day, it was impossible to hide your crush for him. You talked to your best friend Jeongin about it. You knew it was wrong. You knew you shouldn't feel this way. Jeongin told you to stay away from Chan and not to make any stupid decisions. But you just couldn't manage to do that. You were thinking about Chan the whole time. You imagined how it would feel to have his lips on yours, to hug his tall well built figure. How would it feel to have his arms around you, your forehead on his. Chan felt the same way. He couldn't get you out of his mind. Even though he knew it was a bad idea. He talked to his friend Hyunjin. And Hyunjin told him the same thing Jeongin told you. To stay away from each other and not get involved with one another because it will lead to disaster. None of you listened.

You said you loved each other. It was bad enough already. Even without physical touch. But that day it was too much for both of you. You kissed, very well aware of the consequences. Now, you were standing here next to your worst nightmare, watching Chan kissing you and the world starting to tremble.

When the vision ended, you found yourself in the dungeon again. Devil talked to your direction. "You were one of the best demons I had. Too bad you were stupud enough to break the most important law. You decided to fall for an angel." "I didn't decide anything. You can't decide who you fall in love with-" "Silence! I don't want to hear you speak." He then turned to Chan who's whole aura changed. His wings were now completely black, aureola above his head was exchanged for a pair of horns. "You broke the law. As an angel, that makes you a traitor. Which means, you are one of us now." The Devil smiled. "That's nice, I always love to have new people here. You have a scar though. It will let everyone know you weren't born like this." He kneeled down to Chan's level and raised his chin. "Everyone will know you are a traitor."

You wanted to take chains away. You couldn't. You wanted him to stop touching Chan and making him feel even more guilty. He is not a traitor because of his feelings. "Stop touching him! Stop it!" You cried out loud. The Devil stood up. "Him being a demon would mean you can be together." Your eyes lit up. And Chan looked into your direction with hope filling his eyes. Maybe this isn't the end after all. Your hope didn't last long though, because the Devil spoke up again.

"Too bad I don't like traitors..."
