Is it really the end? // pt 3.

Jeongin's p.o.v.

I was running through the hallways of our mansion. I know where Y/n and Chan are and I know they are not going to submit to him. Y/n is too stubborn for that and Chan is going to be a demon now, so it is natural to not just listen to everything someone who made you like that says. Y/n is my best friend and after he took her to the dungeon, I was left alone. I have nothing to lose. But maybe I can save both of them. I saw a tall blonde figure in front of me. Wow. He really managed to sneak in here, even though angels should never even step foot in this place. Hyunjin heard me and raised his head. His gaze was soft and I could see only one emotion in it. Fear. "Did you find them?" He asked before I had a chance to speak. "Yes. And I think we will be able to sneak in. Do you have everything we need?" He nodded and took a little silver bag from his pocket. He opened it and took out 2 small crystals. I swallowed hard. "Are you sure this will work?" He sighed. "It should work. It's either that, or they get punished by him." I grabbed my hair in my hands and threw myself on the ground. The clock was ticking. We didn't have a lot of time left. "Jeongin please. He is my best friend." Hyunjin lowered himself to my level. He looked like he wanted to hug me. And honestly, I could use a hug right now. But he is an angel. We can't touch. 

I looked into his eyes. "Are you sure you want to do this?" He nodded confidently. "You do realise there's no going back once we do it." "Yes. I do. But do we really have a choice? I lost my best friend and you lost yours. What else do I actually have? I never met my family and I am not in a good relationship with others." I felt everything he was saying. Exact same situation was with me. He sighed again. "Look, we will either do this together... or I will do it without you." He said. That's when I knew. I will do it. I will try to save my best friend and Chan and I am willing to give my life instead. Strong will in Hyunjin's eyes was telling me he was too.

Your p.o.v.

"Too bad I don't like traitors..." The moment he said those words, terror could be seen in your eyes. Chan on the other hand just chuckled. "What else was I expecting anyways?" He said. The Devil looked his way and Chan just laughed out loud, while continuing to provoke him. "Do you think I'm afraid of you? Please. You are a dog that barks but never bites. So collect that tough act and leave me alone. Yes I am a traitor. So what? At least I did it for someone I love. And I would do it again and again and again." The Devil approached him and grabbed him by his collar. And while you were screaming for him to let Chan go, he was furious. "Anything else you want to say, before the times of misery?" Chan chuckled again. "Yes. Screw you." The Devil threw him to the ground and started kicking him. 

"You will pay for this. But I know you can take physical pain, so I will hit where it hurts the most." He glanced your way. "You will be the one suffering, while he watches." Chan raised his gaze. He didn't expect this. And he KNEW he won't be able to take it. He won't be able to watch you get beaten up because of him. You smirked. "Go ahead. Do it you asshole." Was all you said. Chan smiled and the Devil stormed out. "You okay?" You asked him and he just smiled wider. "After you just called him an asshole?? Baby, I'm great. But I know what's happening now, and I won't be able to take that. I can't even-" "Chan listen to me.. Whatever he does, I won't give him that satisfaction. He won't be seeing us suffer." "That's my girl." You smiled. "After all of this is over, we will be happy." "Yes. We will. I love you." "I love you more." His scar was glistening and you just wanted to hug him. Touch him. Feel his pink lips on yours. You will be able to do that. You just have to wait a little while longer.

While you were staring deeply into each other's eyes, suddenly the dungeon opened and two figures ran inside. "Jeongin? What are you doing here?" Chan was surprised to see Hyunjin as well. "Chan? What happened to you?" Hyunjin tried touching him but Chan managed to move away. "Stop! Hyunjin, I am one of them now, you can't touch me." "That's true Hyun. I will make sure he gets everything he needs. Go watch and stall as much as you can." Hyunjin nodded but turned to Chan one last time before leaving, while Jeongin turned to you. (3)

"Jeongin what's happening?" "I am getting you out of here. That's happening. Now listen to me very carefully." He reached into his pocket and took out a small crystal. "You have to swallow it. And-" "It will make me a human." You finished his sentence. He slowly nodded. "Yes. You will be born as a human, nobody can control where or when. Maybe you will be able to meet him again." He said and quickly glanced in Chan's direction. "How did you get those crystals?" "Don't ask me. Hyunjin got them." "But you will-" "Break the law and be punished with death? Yes I will. Hyunjin will too. But we are ready to pay that price in addition for you to live and not suffer. You are my friend. I know you would do the same for me. So please, don't make it harder than it already is. Swallow the crystal and live." Tears started forming in your eyes. He was absolutely correct. You would do the same for him. But the fact that he will die for you didn't make the situation any easier. "Please just do it already. You won't remember any of this. You won't remember anything that happened in this life. Do it. For me." You looked to the ground. "Will he do it too?" You asked. Jeongin glanced behind him and called Chan's name. He asked him if Hyunjin told him everything. Chan nodded and let you know he will do it if you do it. "Yes. He will. Now swallow." Before you could protest he forcefully opened your mouth, making it impossible for you to not do what he wanted. After that you passed out, lastly seeing only his figure walking towards Chan. 

Jeongin's p.o.v.

After their bodies vanished I left the dungeon as fast as I could and found Hyunjin still watching if the Devil is returning. I stopped next to him. "Is it done?" "Yes... They will be born as humans." "When?" "I don't know. Maybe they will be born in different centuries. Maybe they will be born tomorrow and will know each other. We can't control it." He slowly nodded. "I just hope all of this was worth it." He glanced at me and then we heard loud thunder behind us. There he was. In the flash. I imagined my death in a lot of ways, but it was never like this. But I guess everything happens for a reason....

20 years later

You were putting on makeup and getting ready for a party. "Come on Y/n! We can't be late" You rolled your eyes at your best friend. "Oh please Chae... It's just a stupid party. Stop being dramatic." She raised her eyebrow at you. "I promised we won't be late. Besides, he will bring his friend, so it is in your best interest to leave a good impression." "Yeah whatever, I don't want a boyfriend right now." "Maybe you will change your mind. Now move! We will be late!" You laughed and took your purse, leaving the apartment. When you arrived at the place where the party was held you saw your best friend's boyfriend and a very very cute guy next to him. "Baby so good to see you!" Chae ran to him to give him a kiss. 

He greeted you and introduced you to his friend. "Y/n, Chae, this is my friend Chan. He is new here so I think he could use someone to walk him around and show him the house." He glanced at you and took Chaeryoung's hand. Soon after, they disappeared in the crowd, while you were left behind with Chan. You decided to grab some drinks and to go out to some fresh air. As you were walking he suddenly stopped. "I'm sorry if this sounds creepy or something, but I feel like I know you from somewhere. Are you sure we have never met before?" You nodded. Even though he was right. You also felt some weird kind of attraction towards him. Like you already knew him from somewhere. The scar that was going down his right eye was making him even more attractive, but was also making you somewhat peaceful next to him. You felt comfortable with him. If only you could remember where you know each other from...
