Y/N- Your name
You were sleeping in your bed when you were awoken by your phone ringing. You were dazed for a second but then you suddenly realise that you had to answer it.
You: What does Light want at this time??(You ask yourself)
You think twice and then answer the phone
You: Hi Light??
Light: Oh Hi Y/N-chan!! Is it a bad time??
You rub your eyes trying to stay awake. You look at the time and realise that it is 6.00am.
You: No it's fine!! Why did you call? Is something wrong??
Light: Um.... Kind of bad.
Your face starts to make a puzzled expression
You: What do you mean kind of??
Light sounded a bit muffled but you were trying your best to hear what he was trying to say
Light: Watari got into a road accident and now he is in the ICU
Your face started to freeze with shock. Your mother who was looking at you was also shocked to see your face like that.
You: What??? How??? Is L ok???? Light are you listening???
Light: Yeah I am with L at the hospital right now!! He is still in shock and he won't say anything
You ask without hesitation
You: Which hospital are you in?? I'm coming right now!! What's the room number???
Light: "Tokyo Metropolitan Hiroo Hospital" and the room number is 85
You are really bad at knowing locations.
You: Where is that?
Light: I'll send you a map
In a couple of minutes a map was sent to your phone. You ended the call and rushed to your closet changing into the most decent outfit for a visit to the hospital. It mustn't be too fancy since it's not a happy occasion. You tell your family about the news and you immediately set out to go to the hospital. You go into a taxi showing the driver the direction of travel. You also tell the driver to go as fast as possible since it was quite argent.
In approximately 20 minutes or so you arrived at the hospital. It was taller than you expected a hospital to be. The building was white with long black windows. As you enter you ask a person how to get to room number 85. The person smiles and kindly escorts you to the requested room. You follow her and finally reach it. You knock the door a couple of times ,the door opens and there appeared Light!
Light: Oh Y/N-chan!! You made it just in time. I'm sorry but I have to leave now!! My dads calling me to the station. He said its argent. I'll see you later
Without allowing you to say anything he quickly ran his way out of the hospital leaving you with your best friend,L, sitting on the side of the hospital bed with in his usual seating position.
You didn't know what to say to him so you just walked next to him and saw his face looking at the ground with one finger in his mouth. He looked so miserable that seeing it made you felt sad yourself.
You slowly sat next to him and wrapped one hand around him. This made him rest his head on your shoulder without saying a word. Your warm gesture caused him to shake, followed by heavy breathing.You heard sobs which increased by the second. He just couldn't keep it to himself anymore so he let it all out while in your arms since was quite close to you and he wouldn't cry in front of anyone else. You started to rub his back in order to comfort him while he sobbed and weeped with tears wetting your shoulder .You knew how much he was worried for Watari so it was good that he had a good cry.
L: I don't know what I will do without Watari!! He is my only family I have left.
You: Watari will be fine. Don't worry!! I'm here!!
L: Thank you Y/N-chan
He starts to hug you while you return the hug. It was good that you were there when he needed you the most. You felt grateful.
