I didn't know how to react, or what to say. My surroundings are a blur, and I can't even comprehend what these people are saying. Puro tilian, puro sigawan at may ilan pang yumuyugyog sa balikat ko.
Nagtama ang paningin namin matapos nya akong halikan sa pisngi.
"Let's talk later?" Hindi ako nakasagot.
I had to gather all my might to look at him straight in the eyes. He's wearing a white coat, dark jeans, and a deep v-neck shirt. His hair was in its perfect ash-blue tone, at sa gitna ng kaguluhan sa paligid ko, his jet black eyes piercing through me screamed perfection.
Hindi ako sumagot at instead ay hinila ko sya papalayo sa crowd.
"What is happening?" Almost out of breath, and hinihingal kong sabi.
"What do you mean what is happening? This. I'm helping you, this is what's happening." Nakangiti pa sya habang kinakausap ako na para bang walang nangyayari.
Para akong hihimatayin.
"Why? I don't understand. I already said no, kaya bakit tinutulungan mo pa rin ako?"
His gaze lowered into an almost stare. "You're not asking the right questions, Paige." kumunot ang noo ko.
"Sa totoo lang this was on impulse. Hindi ko rin alam eh, parang hindi ko lang kayang walang gawin, parang hindi ko maatim na hayaan kang mapahiya in front of thousands of people here when I could've done something."
Ay wow, so ganyan sya maging impulsive, nagpapanggap na boyfriend ng iba?
Pumikit ako ng ilang segundo para ikalma ang sarili ko. Nakafocus pa rin ang lahat sa aming dalawa and nothing about this situation seemed fine to me.
Pagdilat ko, his neck was in my view and as I was about to ask, I felt his lips on my forehead.
What the fuck!?
"Sorry, they were watching— actually, all of them were watching. Felt like I had to put on a show."
Nang makalayo sya, saka lang ako nakahinga. I didn't even realize I was holding my breath pala.
"Sa ngayon, sakyan nalang muna natin ang sitwasyon, later we can talk. Try to be as natural as you can. You wouldn't want people to be confused naman na we've been together for like a year na perox awkward pa din. Diba?"
I looked at Veena happily waving at me, and then I sighed.
Am I really doing this shit? With this man?
Ni hindi ko na nga halos maalala ang pangalan nya. If he didn't show up today makakalimutan ko nang talaga yon.
"I don't know why you're doing this, pero I guess thank you?"
He smiled. Damn that dimple.
"I will try my best din to ride along as much as I can. Tara na?"
Ngumiti rin ako kahit pilit at inabot ang kamay na inaalok nya.
Shet Lord ang gaspang ng kamay parang masarap mambalibag— ay stop.
He intertwined our fingers and happily strode towards the audience. Nakita ko kung paanong dumako ang tingin ni Erin sa kamay naming dalawa.
"Hi. Sorry had to take the bub away muna." He smiled at them. Veena and Erin were both swooning at kulang nalang ay magpapicture sila sa lalaking nasa harap nila.
At bakit naman sila magpapapicture dyan, ano yan member ng EXO? Eme.
He pulled the chair and let me sit, before taking the seat beside me. Ganun din ang ginawa nila Veena.
