Haewon woke up when the sun had been up high in the sky. She stretched out her arms only to find the spot beside her is empty. Jimin must have been up long ago. She got out of bed and went to the bathroom for her morning, well, afternoon routine.
She headed downstairs, the penthouse was in a quiet mood.
"Ahjussi?" she called out hoping to hear a reply from him.
"Ahjussiii" no responses.
He must have left for work then. She decided to strolled around the modern complex and try to carve the ways into her head so she wouldn't get lost later. She discovered that he has 3 more bedrooms, but his room is biggest.
Plus, she'd prefer to stay in his room anyways :))
Haewon laid on the cotton couch, legs swinging down in a lazy way as there were nothing else to do in this penthouse. Although it has a pool but unfortunately she doesn't know how to swim, she envies those who can be underwater. Well, guess she would ask Jimin to teach her then :)
The sound of the passcode bar had caught her attention, she went to the door and opened it right away.
"Oh! You're up! I thought you were still sleeping"
"No, I woke up a while ago. Where have you been?" she helped Jimin hold his bag as he took off his shoes.
"I went to work, and I got some groceries on the way" Jimin held up the bag and shook it.
"What are we eating today?" she peaked her little head into the bag.
"We're having Japchae today" He replied while preparing out the ingredients.
"What's Japchae?"
"Huh you don't know? It's glass noodles fried with vegetables" Jimin explained as he cut the carrots.
"I've never eat it before. When I was at the um.... the orphanage, I usually ate rice with eggs or with some other dry food" it pained him upon hearing it.
"I'm sorry to hear that. Well since you're living with me now, I promise to make you all the best food in the world" she smiled brightly and Jimin continued to chop the shiitake mushrooms and spinach.
She watched silently Jimin cooking their lunch. His skillful hand stirring the noodles, shaking the pan as he mixed the vegetables.
He plated them and sat at the table with her.
"Jal meokkessumnidaaa"
