Haewon woke up super excited today.
Why?
It's her birthday today wooooo!!
She's finally 18.
Which means, she could do a lot of things that she weren't allowed to do in a few years back.
She looked over only to find an empty bed. Great.... it's her special day and the person she wanted to see the most was not even here.
She did her morning routine and headed downstairs, Jimin was making her something to eat.
"Good morning sleepy head"
"Morning daddy!!"
"Woah, someone's in a good mood today"
That question had Haewon taken back. What did he mean "someone's in a good mood today"? Today was her birthday. Did he forget about it? She really hoped not.
"Of course! Today is a great day"
"I know right, the weather is lovely today"
Huh...?
"Do you know what day is it today?"
"Erm... Thursday....?"
"Oh um... right"
"Everything okay?"
"Y-yea...."
"Oh I forgot to tell you, I'll be out the whole day today. I have to meet up with a lot of clients today"
"Can you um... come home early today?"
"What's the matter?"
"Well I just want to spend today with you..."
"You see everyday, come on baby"
"But today's my bir-"
"Oh one second" he raised his finger up signaling her to stop speaking and picked up his phone.
"Yes?"
"..........."
"Yes yes I'm on my way now. I'll see you in a few"
He hung up and grabbed his bag.
"I'll try to be back soon okay love? Take care" He pecked her lips and left. She didn't even get the chance to say anything. Haewon cried to herself and finished up the food Jimin had cooked.

She sat in the office, doodling some random things in her sketchbook to kill time. Her phone rang. It was Jimin!
"Annyeong daddy"
"Baby, I forgot my files in the office. It's right on my desk, the blue one. Can you bring it to the basement for me?"
"Oh um- sure"
"Great, thank you love"
She took the file and headed down to the basement. She waited and waited, for about 10 minutes.
Where is he....? She thought to herself.
A strange man came up to her, dressed in black suit, black cap and sunglasses.
"Kang Haewon, right?"
Gosh his croaky voice made her hair stood up. She didn't answer and left to another waiting spot. Another man wearing the same thing came up in the other direction and more men came. Now she was surrounded by a bunch of weird people.
