Chapter 09

"Hey, wake up"

"Hmm...."

"Come onn, wake up we're gonna be late"

She opened her eyes and was met with Jimin's gorgeous face. Literally living everybody's dream life at the moment.

"What... It's still early...." she turned herself away from him and pulled up the covers.

"You have school today, come on you don't wanna be late"

"Hmm 5 more minutes...."

Jimin stood with hands on his hips and let out a breath "Fine, you leave me with no choice"

"Huh wha- OH GOD!" He picked her up and put her over his shoulder, carrying her to the bathroom. She did her morning routine and got dressed. Jimin in the meantime prepared her breakfast so she could have it in time.

"Alright, we're at school now"

"I don't wanna go..." She played with the hem of her skirt as she stared at the school entrance, watching the amount of people getting in.

"Is everything okay?" He fixed her hair and tucked the lose strands into her tie.

"I-I'm nervous... What if they..." she pressed her lips to a thin line. Jimin knew exactly what she was referring to. She was afraid that people will joke on her for not having parents.

"It's going to be fine. No one will dare to joke on you. Trust me. If they say bad things, daddy will beat them for you baby" her cheeks turned pink at the cheesy nickname.

"O-okey..." she took a deep breath and got out of the car.

"Have fun in school, when you're done, I'll pick you up at this spot okay? Make sure to call me if anything happens"

"Naee~"

She walked down the crowded corridor, some people were staring and whispering to their friends.

Oh...they're not talking about me aren't they...

She kept her head low and looked for her locker. She opened it and took the neccessary things for the first period only.

"Hey" the girl beside her spoke first

"Oh hi..." Haewon was a bit shy, well it's her first day anyways

"You're new here? I've never seen you before"

"Ah nae, it's my first day"

"Nice to meet you, I'm Nami. Kim Nami" the girl extended her arm.

"I'm Haewon, Kang Haewon" she shook her hand and smiled.

"Which class are you in?" Nami asked as she peaked at Haewon's schedule table.

"Class 8B? Is it right..?"

"I'm also in 8B! Awesome, we can go there together. Come on"

"There's an empty seat over there. You can sit there" Nami pointed to one spot near the window.

"Okay"
