Hey guys! Did ya miss me? Here's the very first update since a millennia ago:) I sincerly hope you enjoy it and I promise I'm working on the next chapter.

Dust swirled in the chilly wind, making intricate designs around their feet. Before them stood the ominous form of Kiken Mountain, tall, dark, and mocking. Scraggly cliffs rose higher than the clouds and black cracks in the solid rock face gave way to deep, winding tunnels. The tall peaks were invisible to their eyes, even the keen-eyed views of the Dragon Slayers. Shivers ran up all their backs and their mouths felt dry at the depressing sight and the menacing aura of the  mountain.

"Someone order an extra large mountain with a big helping of depressing and scary with a side of horrific?" Seria dead panned, breaking the heavy silence. For once, even Natsu was quiet. Which was never good. "Nope." Cyrus popped the p. "So we have to go through there?" Lucy asked, paling slightly. "Don't worry Luce, I'll protect you!" Natsu spoke happily and wrapped an arm around the blonde girl's shoulders. Unconsciously, she leaned into his comforting warmth. "Hey guys, are we there yet?"  Wendy asked tiredly, walking out from behind the wagon to stand by the solemn to group. "Depends on where there is." Agure muttered, loud enough for them to hear. At his words, Wendy looked up and shock was written all over her face at the sight. "Here?" "Here." Erza confirmed her question. Continuing, she said, "Alright. Let's grab partners so we don't split up but try to walk in a group. We can't get separated at any point in time."

Erza yanked Gray over to her, exclaiming, "It'll be just like when we were kids!" While Natsu grinned and held onto Lucy, who sighed in exasperation, and Happy hovered over their shoulders, shifting his green pack to a more comfortable position. Cyrus and Seria stood by, exchanging a look of grudging resolve while Agure held a hand out to Wendy; she took it eagerly and smiled eagerly at the taller youth. Gageel and Casgar glared at each other for a moment before coming to a silent agreement. And Panther Lily and Carla each went with their respective Dragon Slayers.

When this crazy process was done, Erza held up a armored hand. "Good! Now that that is complete, we may proceed." Seria started to whisper to Cyrus so no one else could hear. "Who died and made her queen?" "Shut up," He said a little to harshly. She bit her lip before snapping back at him. So while the twins were having their little argument, Erza had started to lead the way with Natsu at her side because he could actually make the darkness flee with his Flame.

"Come on, idiots!" Casgar called and they were instantly broken from their little world to realize they were being left behind. "Oh hell no!" Seria shrieked and bolted after the party, leaving Cyrus to literally eat her dust. "Stupid sister." He muttered and followed, slowing his pace as he joined Casgar. Gajeel was walking ahead with Lily, laughing loudly at 'Bunny Girl' because she jumped when Happy, being the mischievous little Exceed he is, decided to pounce on her. Her scream echoed slightly and rang loudly so Agure, grimacing, wove his hands, making the voice fade into nothing. "Cool!" Natsu yelled, his voice vibrating in the air.

"Hey, Agure! Check this out!" Wendy giggled, ducking under a stalactite and motioning to the boy. Through the faint light of Natsu's flame he could see her face, illuminated and cheerful through the darkness. Stealing a glance at the retreating forms, he decided he had enough time to see what the little bluenette wanted to show him. So, taking a deep breath and crouching down, he crawled into the tight space after the petite girl ahead of him. The only downfall was the fact that his short-clad legs got banged up at the knees and he smacked his head against a protruding rock countless times.
