Chapter 5 | White Swan

It's been a week since Halloween. You had just gotten out of work. It was a busy week. There were meetings left and right because of Sasha's makeup palette. But finally, your design for her palette got approved. They're going to start doing a prototype of the palette this upcoming Monday.

You drove into your apartment complex and parked in the parking lot. You went up to your apartment floor and got your keys out to open your door. You opened your door and locked it after you entered inside, but as soon as you locked it, you heard your phone ding from an incoming message. You set your purse on your counter and got your phone out to check who it was that messaged you. It was Armin. You unlocked your phone to see what he said. As you were about to press the messaging app, he called you. You pressed the green answer button and put your phone up to your ear.

"Hello?" you answered.

"Hey, babe!" Armin says through the phone.

"Hey! Why did you call me? Is everything okay?" you questioned since he rarely calls you.

"Yeah yeah, everything's okay. I just wanted to talk to you about something," he said. You heard no signs of nervousness so you assumed it's nothing bad.

"Okay, what do you want to talk about?" you questioned.

"Okay so... Mikasa called me if we wanted to go on a double date with her and Eren. She said that they want to go out and eat and then go somewhere fun after. What do you think? Should we go?" he said.

"Are you serious?... Of course! I thought this was gonna be something serious cause you never call unless it's something important," you said, putting your right hand in your face.

"Well you didn't answer my text so I decided to call," he said innocently. "Anyways, I'll call Mikasa to let her know. I'm on my way to your apartment by the way. She said she'll pick us up," he said.

"Okay, I'll start getting ready. When is she picking us up?" you asked him.

"She said probably 5:30," he responded to your question.

You looked at your watch and saw that it was already 5:13 p.m. You started walking to your bedroom.

"Okay, I'll see you in a few minutes," you said as you opened your closet door.

"Yeah, I should be there in like 5 minutes. Bye babe," he says goodbye as you do the same and hangs up. You throw your phone onto your bed and look through your closet.

You want to wear a sweater since it's pretty chilly outside. You picked out a light beige color sweater and black pants. You decided to get a black spaghetti strap top for under your sweater.

For your shoes, you chose to wear your black doc martens. You went to your vanity to do some retouching. You put on some lip gloss, more perfume, and fixed your initial necklace. You brushed your fingers through your hair to fix it up a bit.
