Chapter 13 | The Nine Days

It's December 12th, two days after the little argument you and Mikasa had. You and Mikasa have been great since the argument. You and Mikasa have planned to go ice skating again after work since it is you and Mikasa's little tradition to go in December.

You get all the work done that you need to get done before you go on holiday vacation, which is three weeks. Having three weeks off for the holidays is something you appreciate about Braus Cosmetics. You know that not a lot of jobs do that so you're really grateful for the long vacation.

You look at the time at the bottom right corner of your computer screen. 4:59 p.m. You quickly sign out of your computer and clean your desk. Once the clock hits 5 o'clock, you clock out and go back to your desk to get your purse.

You walk to leave the office and as you pass Mrs. Springer's desk, you say goodbye to her. "Goodbye Mrs. Springer, I hope you had a good and restful holiday break," you said with a smile.

"Likewise! See you next year, Y/N," she smirked at you as she waved goodbye.

You laugh at what she meant since you're not going to see her until next year in the new year. You wave goodbye to her and leave the office building.

You get into your car and put your purse on the passenger seat. You buckle in and turn on your car then drive off to go home.

Once you get home, you quickly change into some regular, comfortable clothes. You wear a black fitted dress and on top of that, you wear a baby blue long-sleeved button-up sweater. You decide to wear black tights underneath since it is much colder now. To complete the look, you add a pair of almost knee-high boots. 

You quickly fix your makeup and hair. You grab your perfume from your vanity and spray it on you.

You hear the first door of your apartment open, so you turn to see if it's actually Mikasa.

"I'm home!" Mikasa said as she closed the door and walked into your room. "Let me quickly change and then we can go," she said, kissing you before she went to change.

You walk to the living room as you wait for Mikasa to change. You go through your social media, liking posts of your friends and celebrities that you follow.

A few minutes later, Mikasa comes out with new clothes. The two of you leave your apartment and go down to your car. Both of you get in your car, close the door, and buckle up. You insert your car key to start the car. You slowly start backing out of your parking spot and leave to the arena where the ice skating rink is.

It takes you a while to get to the arena since you keep forgetting what way it is, but eventually, you and Mikasa make it to the arena.

After you turn off your car, you and Mikasa get out and enter the arena. The arena is decorated with beautiful Christmas decorations with a tall Christmas tree with silver, white, and baby blue ornaments. There are twinkling lights on the tree, making it look beautiful.
