[10:02AM]
The garage door slammed shut with a loud bang, sending the poor old thing rippling from the impact.
"Be gentler with it!" I scolded Haneul, stabilizing the still shaking door. "This thing is a million years old."
"Oh my goodness it's gonna be perfectly fine, Chae," she comforted while strolling away from the little building. "It's lasted this long right?"
I roll my eyes and join in next to her, turning to look at the SUV nearly vibrating with bass parked haphazardly across my driveway.

I scanned it over, remembering it was apparently Hyunjin's personal favorite. Custom dark blue paint-job that seemed nearly iridescent, fully tinted windows, and from the sound of it, upgraded speaker system. A little flashy for my tastes, but I had to admit it was an impressive display.

"Tch," Haneul scoffs. "He'd be the type to have a fucking Mercedes, a brand new one at that."
"You sad he didn't have some little rust-wagon from the 80's?" I teased.
Haneul narrowed her eyes, faking an angry tone. "You leave my girl out of this, Chaewon."

I giggled and went to reach out for the back door handle, only for the door to quickly open on its own and nearly knock me off my feet.
A smiling Hyunjin lay on the other side, though it was a little lopsided, heat and music radiating from the interior. "Damn, I was trying to hit Haneul," he said, suddenly deadpanning.
"Scoot the hell over rich bitch," Haneul bellowed, swatting at Hyunjin's face. "Let the poor girl in before she freezes."
Before I could grasp the situation, I was being nudged into the car, shoved into the middle, and squished between Hyunjin and Haneul.
A violent blush struck my face as my shoulder pressed into Hyunjin's, the light scent of floral shampoo tickling my nose.
"Are we finally ready to get out of here?" Jisung's face stuck out from the driver's seat, Felix's blonde head joining in from the passenger's side to smile at us.
"Let's hit the road," Hyunjin confirmed, sparing a quick mischievous glance at me. "As long as Jeong-Chae doesn't pass out back here."
Felix and Jisung burst into laughter, and Instead of embarrassing myself further, I simply opt to look away at Haneul who is holding back a cackle.
"You guys are the worst," I say, scowling.

25 bass and bickering filled minutes later we're still driving, and I cant help but question why we've been doing so for so long. The mall right off the downtown campus area was only a short 10 minutes away from my house and in the opposite direction, so I couldn't help but feel a flicker of anxiety light in my chest at the thought.
"Which mall are we going to?" I questioned Jisung, leaning forward to be heard over the music.
"We need this season's 'best' summer clothes, so Felix demanded we go to Cheongdam-dong," Jisung rolled his eyes jokingly.
(A/N cheongdam-dong is the best known luxury fashion street in Seoul, as well as the street that the SM and JYP buildings are! :D)
"I did not 'demand' anything!" Felix defended, gaping at the now smirking driver. "You dress exclusively in hoodies and track pants, you need help." He frowned, looking Jisung up and down.

"Cheongdam-dong for summer clothes?" Haneul nearly shrieked from beside me. "What kind of money do you psychopaths have?"
Hyunjin scoffed from the other side of me, the sound of his voice so close made me shudder. "I don't spend like this often, these two may be a different story though," he defended, his voice slowly picking up that usual Hyunjin bounce.
"As if you don't regularly use daddy's money," Jisung teased from the front seat. "Literally just look at your car!"
Hyunjin leaned forward to flick Jisung in the back of the head, the right side of his torso pressed nearly fully against me.
"First off, this car was a gift. Second off, 'daddy's money' got you your favorite Prada bucket hat, so don't go nailing me about it, bozo," he spat, though his tone was playful. Clearly this dynamic was long rehearsed.

"Well would you look at that!" Felix interrupted, his tone a bit frantic. "We're here! Find parking quickly before these two kill us all."
As Felix and Jisung bickered over where to best find parking, I took the time to fully soak in the surroundings, quickly realizing that Felix was indeed correct. Long stretches of the trendiest cafés, wisteria-covered restaurants, and both local and chain luxury brands lined both sides of the street. I hadn't been to Cheongdam-dong in years, not since my early middle school days.
