Dan's POV
Phil and I had been in New York for a little trip before going to VidCon. We got onto our plane and wound up sitting in front of a group of giggly girls. They must have called somebody because all they did was talk for almost an hour straight. Then the girl behind me flipped out over her camera, and was calmed down by someone next to her. As I turned around to ask her if she was heading over to VidCon, like many videoers do, her computer blacked out.
"That happens to your computer too?" I asked her and she looked up at me.
"Yeah, almost eveyday now. And I have to edit a new video and get it up before my subscribers get antsy." She said with worry in her voice.
"Oh, don't worry. My subscribers get antsy too. They'll just have to wait for you." I said "by the way, my name's Dan"
"Shannon" she said
"Yeah, you're on YouTube." I said to her.
"And so are you." She said.
"I've been waiting for a new video from you. You haven't come up on my feed in a while." I said to her with a grin.
"Neither have you. You said you would update every weekend. What happened to that?" Shannon said
"I've been a bit busy at the moment." I said, trying to play off my procrastination.
"More like too lazy." She said. We both laughed a bit.
" I heard you flipping out about your camera. What happened to it?" I asked.
"Some idiot threw something at it and damaged the lense." She said, looking very very upset
"I know a really good camera shop in LA. I can get you the info when we land." I said to her.
"Really? That's amazing! Thank you so much." She exclaimed. "And not to sound creepy, but what hotel are you staying at?" She asked
"The Mariot hotel." I sai dand she smiled
"We're staying there too." She said
We wound up talking until the plane landed. I got her cell phone number, but we all got off of the plane together. We went around to baggage claim with Phil, Steph, and Tara. Then some of the paparazzi started attacking, when we got them settled down, Shannon's phone started ringing.
"Sorry, it's my boyfriend." She said. I looked down so that Shannon couldn't see the look on my face.
