I smiled and I looked at Steph, Tara, and Maria.
"Dan and Phil are coming over in like 5 minutes” I said and they smiled
“Get some girl!” Tara said and I threw a pillow at her. I took a step back and realized how sad I really was, my boyfriend of 2 years had just admitted that he had been cheating on me for a while. I looked down at the ground and let a tear slip down my cheek.
“Hey, are you okay?” Steph asked me and walked up to me.
“Does it look like I'm fucking okay?” I yelled at her. “He's been cheating on me for almost 2 years! I was being a fucking idiot for staying with him, we where planning out our wedding, okay! We where planning on getting married when I graduated. I'm such a fucking idiot!” I yelled at Steph and sunk to the floor. I have no words for the way I was feeling, I just wanted to die. He was my first love.
“Shannon, he was also the reason for most of your stress besides school and was also the reason for the cuts on your wrists. He was the one who caused you to be pushed to the edge where you didn't eat for weeks!” Tara yelled back at me before sitting next to me and holding my hand. This shocked me since Tara really wasn't one for PDA or hugging a lot. Then someone knocked at the door.
“Hey, it's Dan and Phil.” Dan said and Maria let them in. I stood up to say hi, and I guess Dan saw the tears on my cheeks because he walked over to me and gave me a bear hug.
“Hey Dan.” I said
“Hey Shannon. Who's ready for really bad chick flicks.” Dan said and I gave him a weird look.
“Dan enjoys watching then so that he can make fun of them.” Phil said
“I do not. But when I see one I do tend to make fun of the characters.” Dan said and I smiled.
“Okay, Last Song first?” Steph said
“Sure, but don't laugh Tara.” I said and went to make the popcorn. Dan followed me into the kitchen and helped me without a word to me. When we got to the living room, all the seats were taken, except two on the loveseat. Crazy little bitches. Halfway through the movie, my cell went off. It was my dad. I answered as Maria turned down the TV.
D: hey babe. I was calling to see how you're doing
S: I'm okay. It's just that Nick and I fell out.
D: you did more than that, I'm firing him anyway. He was a crap worker
S: You don't have to do that, I just don't want him near me. Oh, have you heard anything from Ed? Him and I where supposed to get together in LA after VidCon
D: I'll see with Simon okay? Also the boys want to sit down and write a song, do you have any free time?
S: I'm pretty sure I'm free up until school.
D: alright sweet heart, I'll let you get back to what ever you where doing. Love you Maddy May.
S: love you too dad, I'll speak to you soon
after the conversation, Maria paused the movie and looked at me.
“Ed, as in Ed Sheeran?” Maria asked
“Yeah, he wants to write a song with me, as well as One Direction.” I said and looked at Steph.
“Lucky Bitch.” Tara said
“You are all invited seeing as the meeting will most likely be in London and you're currently living with me.” I said and smirked
“Can we please just watch the movie? I want to get onto a new movie already.” Tara said I rolled my eyes. Tara is so ADHD that it's not even funny.
