Despite no longer wanting to live, I already feel like I'm just going to be forever lost in a hell that I will wander into forever. Into a darkness that I am already facing and no one cares about losing a simple soul being devoured by pure darkness that awaits me.

I wasn't afraid of going back into Dean Hopkin's class to grab my backpack but when I did, I somehow got a sudden urge to just leave immediately and I couldn't understand why. Now that the entire day is already over, I just ignored my senses and grabbed my bag that was near the front door of the class. Lastly, I just quickly went out the door until I heard his voice calling my name.

"Mr. Nicolas Arthur Sharp..." I heard Dean Hopkin's voice in a deep, raspy and angry tone.

I stood in place, closing my eyes shut and told myself that he doesn't matter to me.

"I think you deserve to be in detention after leaving class without a reason, you just lost a part of my respects to you" Mr. Hopkins said and within a second, I just felt completely different so I turned around towards him with an angry expression, but it wasn't just him in the room, I can sense that Jeremiah was there, standing in front of the classroom window with the sunlight beaming down at his lower part of his shirt, jacket and his hands in his pants pockets.

"I'm sorry? Your respect for me? Don't make me laugh! I know what you mean!" I shouted at Mr. Hopkins to make sure that there was no respect between me and him. I never even liked him in the first place! HE ISN'T EVEN A FATHER TO ME! I NEVER EVEN HAD A REAL FATHER! NEVER!!!

"Nick, relax and let him explain-" Jeremiah started calmly but I aimed a finger at him so he could just stay where he is.

"No... I don't think so! You twisted my mind like you are some devil in disguise! Something that I don't want to see from you again! So stay out of my way..." I said very aggressively even though it feels great to let out the burning sensation of hate seething through my teeth, I really didn't want to hear what they have to say and yet I'm glad that I am stepping down with my big boy boots.

"What are you talking about?" Jeremiah asked me with confusion in his eyes.

"You were trying to attack me so stop with your bullshit lies, you psychopath!" I spat at Jeremiah, not even wasting my time to keep my bottle of emotions undoing itself.

I just left Mr. Hopkin's classroom with my backpack and left to walk out of the school's front doors where all of my friends are waiting for me. I didn't want to hear it from them but at least, all they can do right now is to meet up with me at the Safe Haven at nine o' clock tonight.

"Nick, where were you?" Caitlin asked me but I just ignored her, then I noticed that Cameron was walking up towards me and grabbed my jacket's collar.

"What...is...happening...?" Cameron asked me as if he was almost out of breath, he made me look into his eyes and from his expression, he looked beaten...his eyes looked tired or dried out as it turned red around the whiteness of his eyes, his expression showed complete fear and worry. Although I wasn't really wanting to care about his feelings or just about him but somehow...I can already tell that some parts of his face looked like he was in a fight with something recently. Like a small bruise on both of his cheeks, almost diagonal. If recently...then that means he saw a monster too.

I blinked and looked at Cameron.

"...You saw a monster too?" I asked Cameron back, indicating that I did indeed come face to face with a monster that had left behind a bite mark on my left arm.

"Yeah...I...I-I got bitten...on my left arm..." Cameron was still panicking and somehow this wasn't normal or by any sort of coincidence, what I was starting to realize is that whenever I get attacked or be affected...Cameron gets the same torture at the same time that I do.
