NaLu One-shots Vol. 1

A Long Time Ago

Ok..... So I was like,"Hey, Caitlin(My real name) Why don't you do something that will make your wattpad life a lot easier to keep up with?" So now I will be updating a chapter/one-shot a week. This week is One-shots!! Yay!!!!! This one is going to be an adorable one?...........or a sad one?.........or maybe both???? Well, it's up to you wether it is or not, so here it is!!!

Lucy pov (child)

Me and my momma decided that we would go on a walk while daddy was having his buisness meeting. I had Michelle in one hand, and momma's hand in the other. "Look, Lucy. A Monarch Butterfly....." momma said,"Isn't it pretty?"

I nodded,"Let's chase it," I said and began running after it. I didn't realize it until now that I had lost my momma. I started to call her name,"Momma?......... "Momma?"
There was no reply, but I didn't stay put like I was supposed to do in case of an emergency. Nope, I ran through the forest. I stopped when I came to a beautiful clearing. There were wildflowers dotting the field, and the trees that surrounded it were very tall.

But out of all of the beauty in the clearing, there was one thing off. In the dead center was a boy, about my age, laying in the center. As I edged closer, I started to take in his appearance.

He had spiky pink hair that was hard to miss from a distance, along with tan skin. He was wearing a red short-sleeve T-shirt, a white, scaly looking scarf, and tan shorts. When I was hovering over him, I finally noticed that he was hurt. He had scratches and bruises up and down his body, but the worse of them all was a medium sized stick was lodged in his left arm.

Now I was panicking. I was in the middle of no where with an injured and unconcious boy that needed help, and I was alone. I heard something rustle in the bushes not far from us, but then I heard the familiar voice of my mother. "Lucy?! Where are you?!" She was yelling in a panick. I called,"Momma! Over here! There's someone who needs our help, now!"

She jogged up to me and looked at the pink haired boy with worry,"We're gonna have to get him back to the estate, and give him medical attention," she said. As she was picking up the boy, his scarf fell and was being blown away by the wind. Oh no! I thought in my head and chased after it. Once I had it in hand, I raced after momma who was walking to the direction she thought was to the estate.

Third pov

Layla and Lucy made it back to the estate by the time the sun was setting. They sat in the doctors office, and waited for the boy to wake up. "Momma, do you think he's gonna be okay?" Lucy asked Layla. Lucy was worried about the boy and didn't want him to.....you know.....die, but she was young, so she didn't know that those minor injuries wern't going to kill him.

Layla replied,"Of course, Lucy. Luckily he wasn't too terribly injured, but maybe we can learn what happened over dinner." Lucy's eyes lit up,"Really?!" Layla giggled,"Why of course! The boy needs to stay somewhere." Lucy was actually glad he was staying, she hasn't had any real friends to play with since one of her maid's daughter had left for another part of Fiore.

"Yay!" Lucy said and clapped her hands in joy. Afterwards, the doctor came out with the boy awake and wrapped in bandages. "I did my best with the stick in his arm, and cleaned the scratches and cuts, but other than that he seems to be fine," the doctor said. The boy didn't talk much, but he just starred at Lucy and grinned. Lucy's cheeks turned pink, and she smiled back at him.

"Well we're gonna take him back with us to the mansion, if it is ok with you," Layla asked. "Yes, Mrs. Heartfilia. Just come and fill out some papers," the doctor replied. As they went to the counter, the boy walked over to Lucy. They were silent as they waited, but Lucy broke the silence,"Sooo. I'm Lucy, I don't think I know your name...."

She stuck her hand out for him to shake. The boy blushed lightly and replied with a smile,"I'm Natsu." Natsu shook Lucy's hand. "So where am I?" Natsu asked Lucy. "You're on my dad's estate. I found you in the middle of the forest with my momma a couple of hours ago," Lucy replied with a hint of nervousness. She had never had a guy friend.

"Oh.... That's cool. Where will I be staying?" Natsu asked, but instead of Lucy replying, Layla did,"You're gonna stay with us for a little while. Do you think you could tell us what happened when we get there?" Natsu nodded with a smile.

It was strange you being there with my family. Out of all the blonds, there was your unique pink hair. For those few days, your pink head bobbed all over the mansion with me. We laughed and cried together, but we knew that the day would come when you would leave and I would be alone once again. Although you left, I knew that I would see you again...

Third pov

10 years later, a pink headed boy and a unique blue colored cat were walking through a town named Hargeon. The boy sighed,"When do you think we'll find a good restraunt to eat at, Happy?"
The cat looked up at him and meowed. The boy shrugged and went on with his thoughts. I wonder where she is now? She's probably forgotten all about me........but she isn't my priority right now! Finding Igneel is, I mean that's why we're really here.....

His thoughts were interuppted by police sirens blaring. He picked up the blue cat and jogged towards the commotion. When he arrived, he was in front of a bank surrounded by police and their cars. He heard some of the police yelling orders that wern't very clear, but he found some people that were standing behind the barrier.

"Hey, what's going on?" The boy asked. He didn't get a reply at first, but then he asked someone who just came back from talking with the police. "There was a bank robbery, but before the robber could make his escape, the police had came. So he forced all of us out except for a teenage girl. The police have been trying to negotiate with him for half an hour now," the woman said. The boy looked at the entrance to the bank then back at the woman,"Is there another way into the bank?" The woman nodded and gave him the directions to it.

The boy then snuck past the police, and entered the bank through the other door. When he got in there, he looked around for the robber and hostage. His plan was to try and get the girl out of there, and tell the police it's okay to advance into the bank. When he spotted the hostage, he was suprised to see who it looked like. She had blond hair, brown eyes, and fair skin. She wore a blue mini skirt with a brown belt that didn't fit right on her waist, and a blue and white top. She looks like my Lucy.......

The boy shook the thought from his head and continued with his distraction. When the robber went to look at the commotion, the boy took his chance to grab the girl, and go. She was panicked at first, but the boy whispered,"This is in return for 10 years ago," then pulled her along to the back door. When they got out the door and to the police, the boy told them that they could enter.

The blond looked at the boy for a little while before realizing what he had menat by 10 years ago. She ran up to him, and hugged him. He was suprised, but then returned the gesture. "It's been a while, eh, Natsu?" The girl said and giggled. Natsu chuckled,"You've got that right. Have you been getting in this kind of trouble over the years?" Lucy broke their hug and shook her head.

"I've been traveling. Watching my back for my dad's workers and-"

"What do you mean by that?" Natsu interupted. Lucy looked away from her old friend and crush. "C'mon, Luce. Tell me," he continued worriedly. Lucy looked back up at him and said,"Lets talk somewhere else, please." Natsu held back his questions until they got to a restraunt.

"Now......tell me about....... what's wrong with your dad?" Natsu asked between bites of food. Lucy swallowed her food and started,"Well.......

That's the update for this week! So this is gonna be like the sad one-shot, but not sad, just more than 1part!! So next week I plan on writing the next chapter to my beach vacation story..... sooo until then!!
