You're Not Alone

Ok so this is off schedule, but I found imspiration for the lyric one-shot. And I have no idea what to write for the Gruvia and Miraxus chapter for the Beach vacation fanfic. So I'm making a contest!! Send me in your Gruvia and Miraxus ideas for a Carnival/Board Walk date, and I'll give the person/people who gave me the ideas PRIZES!!

Prizes include: A follow from me, votes on all of your stories if you have any, dedicate the chapter, and add you into the chapter.

I was walking through the woods because I wanted to get away from all of the negativity of the city and the school. There has been tons of bullies lately, but no body does anything about it. So, I just want to get away from it. A small pond came into view, and with the pond came someone crying. I slowly edged closer to the area of where the cries came from, and found a familiar blond sitting with her knees to her chest. "Lucy?". She flinched and quickly wiped away her tears.

"Hey, N-natsu. I didn't know you were here," Lucy said with a forced smile. I got closer to her,"Are you okay? Why were you crying?" I was worried about her, mostly because I like her, but also as a friend. "N-nothing's wrong. I wasn't crying, my contacts were messing up," she lied.

"Lucy, you don't wear contacts so why were you crying?"

Slowly fading away, you're lost and so afraid.
Where is the hope in a world so cold?

"They were just a bunch of stupid jocks that don't understand me," Lucy replied, the tears slowly resurfacing in her sweet brown eyes. "Did someone bully you?" I asked becoming angry at the person that would do that to Lucy. The tears started to fall slowly,"D-don't w-worry, what they said was t-true any way."

Looking for a distant light
Someone who could save a life
You're living in fear that no one can hear your cries

I held Lucy's face and wiped her falling tears away with my thumbs. "What do you mean? What did they say?" I asked her looking her in the eye. Lucy sniffled and replied,"They said I was weak and a clutz. Then they started to leave notes in my locker with bad comments. Through out the rest of this week, their remarks and insults started to get worse, and I don't think I can handle it any more."

Can you save me now?

I hugged Lucy and said,"Don't let them get to you, Luce. They are just idiots that don't know what they are saying. I know they are getting worse, but........" I squeezed her tighter into me.

"Please don't leave me Lucy. I will beat those people up if they keep on messing with you. I will protect you," I said with tears coming to my eyes. Lucy hugged me back,"I won't leave you, Natsu." She looked up at me and wiped away the tears. We both smiled at each other.

And everything's gone but the pain carries on.

The next week, I felt pained to know that Lucy was bullied all last week and not know about it until Saturday. I thought she would have told me before. Maybe she didn't want to worry me, or make a big scene about. But still, she should've at least hinted me about it.

Lost in the rain again
When will it ever end?
The arms of relief seem so out of reach.

Why would they target Lucy, though? I mean yeah she is a little clumsy, but it's nothing to make fun of. And what if she's physically weak? That just means she's mentally and emotionally stronger. These people need to stop. I want to see a happy Lucy, not a sad one. As I was turning the corner of the hallway, I saw something I never wanted to see.

But I, I am here

Lucy was on the ground infront of her locker with a black eye, and bruises on her arms and legs. "L-lucy?!" I yelled and ran to her side. She had a small reaction to my touch, but she didn't fully wake up. I picked her up and carried her to the nurses office.

After Lucy was taken care of and was finally awake, I was allowed to go in. I hugged her, but carefully not wanting to hurt her, and started my questions,"Lucy, What happened?! Who did this to you?!" She wasn't looking at me, she just stared at the floor. "Lucy? Please tell me."

"I fought back," she said quietly,"and they did, too." I didn't say anything else, I just walked out of the office and went to where all of the bullies were.

And I will be your hope when you feel like it's over
And I will pick you up when your whole world shatters

"Yo! Dragneel, whats goin on?" One of the guys said. I ignored him and punched him in the gut. "Whoa dude!"
"Calm down, Dragneel" every one else was yelling. I ignored them as well,"Why are you doing this?" The guy stood himself up and smirked,"Did I hit a softspot when I touched your girl?" I kicked him making him fall over. "Don't touch Lucy ever again. If you do, I will finish you," I said before leaving to go back to Lucy.

And when you're finally in my arms, look up and see love has a face

I went back to Lucy, and she was still looking down at the floor. I hugged her again,"I took care of them. They're not gonna touch you ever again." Lucy looked back at me and grinned,"Thanks Natsu." She stood up and took a few steps, but wobbled. "Are you sure that you need to be walking?" I asked while holding her by her waist. She nodded.

We made eye contact, and it was like everything froze in place. She blushed lightly, and I could feel the heat in my cheeks too. I looked at her light pink lips. Before I realized it, I leaned fowrad and we were kissing. She melted in to the kiss, and we were like this until we needed to breathe. Lucy looked up at me with a blush.

"I love you, Natsu," Lucy said. I grinned down at her,"I love you, too."

And I will be your hope
And I will be your hope

No one will put my Lucy through that pain ever again. I don't want to see her like that because this side of her hurts me, and I don't want to see her so upset. So thats why I'm going to protect her. She won't be hurt as long as I'm with her.

Slowly fading away

So this is my first one, it may be crappy so please no bad comments! Don't forget about my little competion, there is no deadline, but I won't be updating the Beach Vacation book until I can get some inspiration.
