Barley had just arrived in front of Izzy's doorstep, he happily knocked at it as he calls out her name. "Oh Izzzzzzyyy!!! You'll never believe what I gooooooooot!" Blue eyes could be seen peeping out the window, double checking to see if it was Barley. She opened up the door to be greeted by his wide grin. He took a small step to the side and did a little flourish as he showed to her the float he had promised to get her. "BEHOLD! I call her... Juniorvere!"

It took Izzy a moment to realise what she was looking at as her vision adjusted to the dark, but once she did she gasped loudly. "H-How did you-?! Where did you get that?!" She asks, she couldn't believe he was able to do this.

Barley leans against Juniorvere, a smug grin on his face. "Oh...let's just say I did what had to be done." He says as he lightly shrugged his shoulders. "Wanna take a peek on the inside?"

Izzy nodded her head as she walks over, using a flashlight, Barley helped lighten up the inside so she can see it more properly. It was rustic but the elf did a great job cleaning her up. The imp especially appreciated the bags of hay and buckets of water in case they got hungry or thirsty. Which surely they will during a five hour drive. "Barley...t-this is so AMAZING!" Izzy began to jump up and down with complete excitement, she practically throws herself onto him and hugs him tightly. She was so grateful that he was willing to do this. A small squealing noise could be heard from her as she was unable to contain herself.

Barley couldn't help but giggle a little as he pats her on the head, finding her reaction adorable. He started to blush a little bit as well. "Ah, this is only the beginning. We haven't even started with phase one!" Barley commented as he looked down at the happy little imp. "C'mon, let's go and recruit some of our allies for the road!" He grabbed ahold of her hand and leads her out towards the suburban area.

It didn't take too long until they spotted a unicorn eating from the trash, the poor thing looked ratty and unhealthy. "Aha, here we go. Alright, Izzy. Work your magic." Barley says with a whisper, he lightly petted her on the back to make her take a step forward.

Being alert, the unicorn looks up and stares towards Izzy's direction. It didn't seem terribly frightened or aggressive but it kept an eye on her. The imp waves at the unicorn first, just a small gentle wave so the movements were not too sudden but enough to preform some sort of interaction with it. To properly tame an animal it is best not to sneak up on them as they may think you're a predator who is out to get them, from her experience it's best to allow them to acknowledge your presence from a distance first and slowly make your way over. "Hi, it's pretty chilly out tonight isn't it?" Izzy says.

The unicorn kept staring at her, it was a little tense but showed no signs of running off just yet. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt ya, neither is my boyfriend here Barley. You see, we just want to help you guys out...you're all in terrible danger." The unicorn kept staring at her, though it couldn't understand what she was saying the imp found that talking to them regardless helps calm them down, helps to appear less threatening and it helps for them to grow more comfortable. "So we are just gonna try and move you to some place safer...plus you wouldn't be forced to eat from the trash and risk getting a horrible stomach ache! There will be plenty of fresh green grass where we are heading!"

The unicorn seemed to have calmed down, it didn't understand her language exactly but it can tell she wasn't a threat. After watching her and listening for a while it was able to confirm that if this stranger wanted to hurt the unicorn, she would have done so by now. The unicorn went back to eating garbage, deciding that the imp was nothing to worry about. However when Izzy took a few steps closer it's head perked up again. "Shhhh....hey it's ok. I got a little treat for you actually." Izzy pulls out a nice big carrot, the unicorn was able to recognise what she was holding. Still a bit cautious, it slowly crept over, bit by bit it was reaching out to sniff the carrot. The imp stayed as still as possible, knowing any movement at all will scare the animal off. Barley was taking in everything, he wanted to take note of what it takes to try and tame a wild beast such as that. To him this skill Izzy possesses was truely a unique one. She may insist that it is all about being slow and patient but he still believes that one must have a pure soul that is easily recognisable by critters.
