"Hey, what's wrong?" Is the question that started it all. Of course, I said "nothing, just tired," because I wasn't really in a talking mood. This was last March, with a guy named Ben. He kept bugging me about it, and even got my number from somewhere, texting me trying to get it out of me. Thing is, I really didn't even know what was wrong. I was just down, but I made up a lie that seems quite ridiculous now that I look back. Maybe if I hadn't told him I was upset because there was a guy I "liked" who had no interest in me, he wouldn't have told me he liked me. Now, it's not like Ben and I had just met. I've known him since I was 5! But he's always been like a brother to me, until about a month prior to this. He had started flirting with me and I kind of had a little crush on him. We became a couple rather quickly, and said "I love you" even quicker. I thought he was perfect, and that we were going to last forever. Haha, good one Kristin. Everything was going great, until the day I came back to school from medical leave. That night, he texted me and said we should take a break because he "still had feelings for his ex" and "needed to get his shit together."

Fast forward three weeks. We get back together and everything is great again. Although, it was like we were never split. We do everything together. School lets out and we start drifting a little, but one day he asks me to go to the beach with him after work, so I do. We went for a couple hours and I went back to his house after. We were hanging out, eating dinner and watching TV. Never seemed like anything was wrong, we were even talking about how much we love each other and before I left that night, we still did our "ritual" of a hug and a goodnight kiss then saying we love each other. Next morning, he texted me on his break and I hadn't suspected a thing, we were still going great, until he stopped replying. I have to admit, I was very clingy back then and of course I texted him three times. What came next? Something nobody ever expected.
