Part six

You both were curled up on the sofa wrapped in a blanket

Steven put finding nemo on and pulled you into him

"You know what would make this ten times better?"
He said

"What?"
You replied

"If it was raining, i like listening to the rain"
He hummed

You nodded and rested your head on him

Soon enough, whilst he was rambling on about birds, you fell asleep on him

You woke up, startled

"Wh-?"
You mumbled

You were in stevens bed but he was nowhere to be seen

"Steven?"
You rubbed your eyes
"Steeevveennn???"

You sat up and looked around the room

"Steven?"
You checked the alarm clock next to you

2.24 am

You got out of bed

"Steven stop. This isn't funny"
You looked around his apartment

You went to his wardrobe and put on a jumper

After fifteen minutes of looking you couldn't find him

You took the coat you wore yesterday, rummaged around for stevens house keys and left

"Please.. please say you took your phone"
You mumbled to yourself as you locked the door behind you

You walked out of the building, trying to guess where he would go first

You walked to a nearby pub and looked inside

No sign of him

You walked down the street

"What's a little lady like you doing out so late?"
You heard a voice say from behind you

You kept walking, trying to ignore this bastard

"Are you ignoring me?"
He said

You walked faster

"I-i have a boyfriend"
You stammered

This man was larger than you, you were scared but this is the harsh reality for women

"Does it look like i care?"
He says

He tried to push you down an alleyway

"She said she has a boyfriend?"
Someone said

He sounded familiar

A man dressed in white mummy wrap and a cape stood in front of you

You ran to him, it was some kind of super hero

You thought they were fictional characters that didn't exist but here one was, standing In front of you

"What were you going to do to this.."
He sighed
"Rather pretty lady?"

"She's my girlfriend"
He said

"No the fuck I'm not! You better get your sorry ass out of here because he's not the only problem you have to worry about!"
You say

"She doesn't know what she's talking about, we've just come out of a pub and she's a little tipsy"
He says, Trying to grab you

"Get the fuck away from me, i don't even fucking know you"
You tried to claw at his face

"Woah, calm down there"
The superhero held you back

You turned around and glared daggers at him

"Chill, little lady."
He turned to the man
"If i find you doing something like this again, you'll be sorry"

You flipped the man off as you walked off with the hero

"Thanks, i guess"
You said

He didn't respond, he kept walking you down the road towards the apartment block

He was walking was dangerously close to where you were staying

He walked you into the building

"Y/n, what the fuck are you doing out so late?"
He said

"What-? Who the fuck do you know my name!"
You backed off

"I- uhh.. mind reading powers you know"
He waved his hand

"Oh"
You pondered

"Yes well err.. go back to your apartment and don't make me save you again!"
He said

You rolled your eyes

"Right"
You say, walking off

You took the elevator and walked up to Stevens  apartment

You open the door and saw him laying on the sofa

"Steven?"
You whisper

He opened his eyes

"Wrong"
He groaned

"Oh.. marc! Hey!"
You force a smile

"Where were you? I woke up and went to the toilet and when i came back you were gone"
He said

"I checked the toilet.. you weren't there"
You mumble
"I was looking for you.."

You looked away

Marc laughed
"You were worried? About me?"

You shook your head

"No.. for Steven."
You sigh
"Who knows what type of trouble he could get himself into"

Marc sighed

"Hey.. i haven't finished watching finding Nemo with Steven.. wanna watch it?"
You smiled

It went eery silent for a second

"Nemo... we didn't finish it!"
Steven was back

Your heart did a little flip

You rushed in to hug him

"You alright love?"
He said hugging you back

"I'm alright, you went missing in the night so i had to go and find you"
You hugged him tighter

"Oh.. I'm so sorry to worry you.."
He sounded really sad

"Don't worry it wasn't your fault"
You rubbed his back

"I'm just a burden y/n.. I'm so sorry"
He said, letting loose of the hug

"Your not. If you do ever get into trouble I'm sure Marc could save you"
You smile, holding his cheek

Steven pulled you down next to him and turned on the tv

You yawn

"Oh.. are you tired?"
Steven said

You nod

"Well then lets go to bed.. I'm sure it's been a long night for you"
He said, getting up
