"What?!" I'm literally panicking right now. I never imagined that it would be like that. As far as I know Rudolfo likes to direct a thriller movie? It is far from that, the total opposite of it!

"I'm not kidding. He will produce a romance series with a big cast and based on his spokesperson he will not hold an audition for the role. He already chose someone to play for the characters" Naomi, my handler told me.

"Can you do something about it? It may not be what i expected but it is a great opportunity to work with him.'' I hopingly asked her but she shook her head.

"Everything is private, even the scriptwriter of the series is still a secret" she said. I sighed deeply. I waited for almost half a year to hear about Rudolfo's future project after a long hiatus but i don't think that I will be chosen for his series. A lot of directors already told me that I am not suited for a lot of leading man roles as I was too feminine and short to play as a leading man. At first I was really mad at those comments but soon I got used to it. Despite those comments, I still got a lot of roles in different series and movies. I also heard some people asking why I became the best actor of the year if I am not acting in a romance series or movies but I disregard all of it. I work hard and I'm happy that all those hardship and obstacle i faced give me the reason to be proud of myself as an actor.

"Do you know what day they will announce the details of the series?"

"Tomorrow but for the cast, it was tonight but it was only for the leading role and other characters will be announced three days from now." Naomi answered and I nodded and bid my goodbye to her. I just stopped by her office to hear the news about the series before going to my friends.

I arrive at the café almost outside the city at exactly 5 pm and my friends are the center of attention in the café as they are loud and they are a large group. Jamie is the one who noticed me first. She went to me and clung her arm in my arm before guiding me to their table. Everyone greeted me including some of our friend's boyfriend who I still know is becoming awkward every time I arrive and I don't know why.

"What took you so long? We all agreed to meet up at 4 in the afternoon but it's already 5 when you arrive, " Jamie complained.

"I check first the announcement of the series I planned to audition for."

"Really? So?" I laughed when she focused on me after hearing about the series. They always want to know what series I will play on.

"I didn't know if i can get in cause it is rumored that no audition will happen but we are still waiting for the final announcement tomorrow"

"Your last series was almost half a year ago, right? A lot of friends asking me if you are on hiatus in the series" Olivia interrupted.

"You know that I am not getting a series that I know doesn't challenge my acting right? I'm still active on modeling and advertising though"

"We all know that but how about your popularity? A lot of actors are rising now and what if you became an old actor who is not good at today's genre? What will we say to other people?" I rolled my eyes at Olivia.

"Honestly you are overreacting. I already made a name in the entertainment industry and I know people won't forget me that easily. For f sake, people are still mentioning my childhood character and how it is still popular up until now." she sighed deeply at my answer before nodding and sipping in her drinks. Sometimes we quarrel because of how chill I am as an actor. I know that they support me as my closest friend but haven't they known me for almost 9 years of friendship we have?

"Let's take a picture outside the café. It is a good photoshoot place" Janice didn't wait for my response and dragged me to the backside of the café. There was no one in the backside of the café but our group had 12 people. That's why it looks like there is a party in the back. The staff of the café also accommodate us and serve our drinks and other food on the table that they just set up for us. The sun is still up but it doesn't hurt at all in the skin and it is great for photo shoots. Golden hour time. My friends all love taking pictures and me as well.
