3: New Friend.

I was just looking at my laptop screen as I just deleted the whole ppt I worked so hard on for two hours .
I tried to undo it aur find it in the backup but I couldn't it's a good thing I had everything written on a paper
I got up and made some coffee.
It was 2pm
And I hadn't had anything since last night.
Should I go out and have lunch?? Or order in.
Let's go out
I changed into a pair of blue shorts and a loose black t-shirt.
Usually I don't wear shorts as I feel conscious but in this hot weather I need to wear shorts or else I can't survive
I got out of the house and walked towards the nearest cafe .
I had taken my bag with me so I could finish my presentation there.
I opened the door and it was empty .
Good.
I took a seat in the booth near to the window
I ordered a sandwich and milkshake and took out my laptop and started working on it
After a good fifteen minutes I was done with three slides out of ten
I started to eat my sandwich and posted a story .
I finished my lunch and decided to work on my project in the cafe as the ambience was amazing
I finished the assignment that was regarding sustainable development and mentally danced .
I shut my laptop and looked out of the window.
The weather was nice not too sunny and the air was fresh
I wish I had a bike or something to go on a ride.
I got up and left the cafe walking towards my hostel.
I got a message from Tanuj asking me to come at his house at 6 for a party or something.
I immediately said yes and asked if I could bring guests to which he said yes..
I went home and changed into a black dress which was casual yet fitting.
I texted Shubman and Abhishek asking if they want to come to Tanuj's party

Shubman:yeah sure meet me at the stadium at 6?
Tanya: cool
Abhishek: no issues meet me at the stadium at 5?
Tanya:no probs

I scrolled through my Instagram liking all the pictures.
I shut my phone and looked at the ceiling fan going round and round.
I met Tanuj when I first arrived in Mumbai
He was the one who helped me get familiar with the place as he was in the same college as mine before he graduated.
I have known him for like a year
It was not after he started dating I realised that I like him but i was not going to go after a taken man
Reena infact is an amazing girlfriend she has a great personality she looks great and actually has a good heart.
Right now I was moving on frim Tanuj and it was going okay I had stopped saying yes to everything he said and I actually spent a lot of time with myself this week unlike before
It was 5 pm right now I got up applying mascara and a lipstick and walked downstairs while taking my bag
I took an auto as the stadium was a little far from where I lived
The guard let me in and I walked towards the cafeteria looking here and there to spot Abhishek.
I decided to text him but my phone died.
Great I thought and walked towards the reception to ask for a charger
"Didi apke pass charger hai kya ye wale phone ka" I asked showing her the phone
" Ha ek kaam karo aap phone idhar de do me charge krke apko awaz deti hu" she said and I handed her my phone
After a good fifteen minutes I asked her to give my phone back
She handed it to me and then I texted him
He asked me to wait for him as he will be here in 5 minutes.
I walked around till the time and saw a bunch of players talking to each other.
I spotted Dewold Brewis from MI team
Good looking! I have to admit
He was talking to Ishan Kishan.
I looked away when I realised that I walked too far
I turned around to walk back to where I was
"Bhoo" Abhishek said
And I screamed
"Haha got you" he said and I looked around and everyone was staring at us.
"You uhh I hate you " I said and started walking away
"Sorry yaar " he said running behind me
It was 5:40 right now
Abhishek and I walked towards the nets to see everyone practicing
"By the way I don't think I told you this before but you look good "he said and I smiled
" Thank you "I replied
" So really who is this Tanuj"he asked and I narrated the whole story to him
"There is plenty of fish in the sea " he said pointing towards himself I nudged him and we laughed
"Hi Abhishek" We turned to look at the unfamiliar voice
It was Ishan Kishan
" Hey Ishan" Abhishek said hugging him
"

Hii" I said and he turned towards me
"Hello I'm Ishan " he said forwarding his hand
"I'm Tanya " I said shaking it
"By the way kal you played amazingly" I said complimenting him
" Thank you "he replied with a smile again
"Aaj rat ka plan on hai?" ABHISHEK asked him
"Haa meet me at 10" Ishan said and he walked away
Suddenly Abhishek got a message
And he looked at me
"He is head over heels for you already" Abhishek said showing me his phone that had Ishan's message telling him to him bring me if possible
"Meko college me toh koi bhao bhi nhi deta idhr itna kaise ?"I asked
" Idhr ke logo ko smjhta hai kaun ktna acha hai College wale ko I don't know"he said
" Thank you for the indirect compliment"I said
" Who told you it was indirect"he said and I chuckled.

Shubman, Abhishek and I were headed to Tanuj's house
Tanuj told me that there were going to be only a few people of his circle.
Shubman pulled over and we got out
I checked in the rearview mirror once again and then we entered his house
So turns out it was Reena's birthday and Tanuj didn't even had the courtesy to let me know so I could bring her a present
I hugged her and wished her and went towards the drink station to get a drink
I got a coke and looked around to see only ten people some were from Reena's side and others were Tanuj's friend including me
I saw Reena taking a few pictures with SHUBMAN and Abhishek
I felt jealous.
Suddenly Shubman looked at me and smiled I smiled back.
I walked towards the balcony and enjoyed my drink looking at the vehicles pass by
"So Reena she is a sweet girl" Suddenly Abhishek said coming out of nowhere
"Yeah I know cheers" I said clanking our together
Tanuj approached us and I hugged him
"He is Abhishek and that is Shubman I met the yesterday and they are my friends"I said and they just hugged each other
Tanuj asked me to come at a side as he wanted to talk to me
"Yeah what is it?" I asked him
"How can you trust them?? What if they are not good guys" he said
"Excuse me Tanuj I get it that you are worried but don't talk bad about them "I said and he looked at me with disbelief
" So what they are your new friends so you are going to stand up for them now just like you used to for me?"he asked me scoffing
" I always have stood up for you and yes I'm going to stand up for them too because unlike some you know what nevermind we'll talk when you feel a bit good"I said walking away but he held me
" Finish that sentence and the go"he said
"No Tanuj let me go " I said
"Finish it " he commanded
" Because someone got so busy with their girlfriend that theu forgot they have a friend"I said it .all this time I had been holding myself back but it came out today.
" When did I not give attention to you ? I'm literally at your beck and call "he said
" What that is so not true "I said
" You call me I'm there you ask me if I wanted to hang out I said yes " he said
"Tanuj when was the last time I asked you to hang out with me and If you had itna problem bol dete ki busy ho man nhi hai tumhe kidnap krke toh nhi leke ati na me "I said losing my temper
" Aur aise q behave krne ho tum " I said
"Tum kisi ke sath bhi ghumogi toh mujhe tension toh hogi na " he said
"First of all they are my friend think before you speak shit about them"I said in a warning tone
" You know what Tanya go and have fun with your so called friends because I'm sure once they get bored tum mere pas aajaogi rote rote "he said and I turned around to leave
I was angry .I felt as if I would punch the first person I see.
I left the house and ran towards the parking lot
I heard footsteps behind me .
"Hey stop " Shubman shouted
"Kya hia achanak bhag ke q nikal gyi"he asked me panting
" Kuch nhi bas mood change hogaya" I lied
"Kuch bola kya Tanuj ne ?" He asked me
"Nhi tum Abhishek ko bulao phir chalte hai" I said
It was 8pm right now
Abhishek soon came amd we started going towards I don't know where
"Are waise Ishan ne isko lane ke liye bola tha ,Tanya chalogi tum?"he asked me
" Ha chalega kidhr bhi leke jao. Mujhe kya farak padta hai"I said leaning on the window
" Matlab?"Shubman asked me
" Kuch nhi "I replied back
I was really upset because of the fight I just had with Tanuj
It was not the first time .
I remember we had a fight before when he felt that I was being rude to Reena .
Suddenly on the radio this song played
Saase kho gayi hai kiski aaho mein, mein kho gyi-
"Can you please change the song ?" I asked Shubman
He immediately changed the song
" Kya hua hai why are you so upset" he asked me this time his voice was filled with concern
"Kaha upset hu me I'm just bored" I said
"Thike mat batao but me idhr hi hu agar batane ka man hua toh" he said and I nodded
"Waise kaha ke jare ho tum log mujhe?" I asked them
"Surprise" Abhishek said
