8: Dinner with Shubman

I changed into a pair of blue jeans and a black turtle neck and did my makeup
I was waiting for Shubman now
I scrolled through my insta and liked some of the pictures
Suddenly a bike stopped infront of me
I backed away little bit
The guy was dressed in a black leather jacket underneath he was wearing a black tshirt  and black jeans
He removed his helmet and i saw that it was Shubman
He handed me a helmet and i wore it
I sat behind him and signalled him that it was okay for him to drive
The ride with him was amazing he drove past everybody quickly
The air pushed my hair behind and i looked at the trees and we passed them one by one
He soon stopped infront of a cafe and removed the helmet and got down
"Hey Y/n"he said while hugging me
I smiled while greeting him
The cafe was lowkey and quiet
Not many people were there
We took the booth that was at the end and sat there
The cafe was dimly lit and soft music played in the background it was a perfect cafe for dates
We sat across each other at the table and i quickly clicked a picture of him that didn't show his face in it and put a story

Within a minute Shubman posted the same story with my picture that didn't show my face and the kept the caption same Friendly date with 🤷‍♀️👩‍💼😌💜
I chuckled at his choice of emojis
We both ordered our dishes and waited for them to arrive
"Y/n i actually wanted to talk to you about something" he said and i turned my attention towards him
"Yes tell me is everything ok?" I asked hoping that everything was ok
"Yea everything is fine i just wanted to tell you that for the past few days i had been-"our conversation was cut short when we heard a sudden gasp and turned to look at the direction from where the voice came
We saw Ishan and Abhishek standing there with a shocked expression
"Dhokebaz log humko kyu nhi invite Kiya" Abhishek said and i gulped
"Umm kyuki umm-"Shubman cut me off by saying
"Aisehi" he said while shrugging
Soon Ishan and Abhishek joined us Ishan took a seat beside me and Abhishek sat opposite to me with Shubman
We all talked about random things
"So y/n kya aapne move on Kiya hai Mr.Tanuj se"Ishan asked me in a dramatic tone and i laughed
"Ye prashn ki wajah" i asked back playing along
"Bas hum Janna chahte hai ki aap jaise phool Kali ka dil kisi aur pe hai ya nahi" he said
"Agar mene na kaha toh" i said
"Na matlab?"he asked
"Na mtlb Mera Dil nhi hai kisi pe"i replied
"Sunke acha laga "he said and before i could ask anything the waiter came with our orders
We started eating our food and i noticed how awfully quiet Shubman got after the guys joined us
"Shubman are you okay?" I asked him
Before he could reply Abhishek said
"Are uska mood off hai because humlog ne tumhari date kharab ki" he said licking the gravy off his finger
I looked at Shubman who looked a little bit pissed off
"Are date nhi baba aisehi Mann hua dinner ka isle plan banaya" i said changing the topic
After dinner i was with Shubman as we came together on the bike
The both of us were wearing our helmets
"You were saying something before" i asked him a nd he turned to look atme
"Oh yes it was nothing not important" he said and i furrowed
We both got our helmets on our head
"Come on say it " i said nudging him
"I like you" he said his voice came out muffled due to the helmet so i pretended that i didn't hear it
"What did you say i couldn't hear you" i said and he said nothing
I got on the vehicle and held him for support
He started driving towards my hostel and we reached there in 30 mins
"Bye Shubman drive safe" i said giving him the helmet
"Y/n wait" he said and i turned to look at him
"Did you really not hear what i had said before" he asked me
"Nope" i lied and he nodded
"Good night" he said while driving away from me
When i got upstairs i changed into a tshirt and pajama and collapsed on the bed thinking about what he said

I opened my Instagram and went in our chat
