Chapter 5: Prefect Bunny

(Narrator's POV)

Alice woke up and went to sit up. But she couldn't she looked down to see Brendan snuggled into her chest. She smiled at that and moved her arms to run her hands through his hair. But she stopped when she saw the cuffs on her wrist.

Now she knew that they didn't do anything THAT much last time. So she knew she didn't have those cuffs on her last night. She looked at them, and then tried to take them off, but nothing was working. She looked down at Brendan shocked and a little scared. With all her moving, she woke Brendan up. He groaned and snuggled his face deeper into her chest.

Brendan: "*Mumbles* Good morning Bunny."

Alice blushed at Brendan's deep morning voice. But she knew that this wasn't the time, to get turned on. She wanted the cuffs off her wrist.

Alice: "B-Brendan. Why are there cuffs on my wrist?"

Brendan let go of Alice and sat up. He placed his arms on both her sides and looked her right in the eyes.

Brendan: "It's for your safety, Alice."

Alice looked at Brendan shocked and confused.

Alice: "M-My safety? What do you mean?"

Brendan sighed and looked guilty.

Brendan: "I didn't want to tell you this, cause I was worried that you'll freak out and run away."

Alice was starting to get more nervous.

Brendan: "But your ex was released from jail yesterday. And I didn't want him to go after you. Those cuffs have a tracker on them, in case he finds you and kidnaps you as he did with (Generic asshole name)."

Alice froze up and stopped breathing. She looked at Brendan shocked and scared. She didn't her ex to be anywhere near her, after what he did to her. Brendan looked at her worried and placed his hand on her cheek.

Brendan: "Calm down Bunny. Your safe here."

Alice looked at Brendan unsure.

Alice; "A-Are you sure?"

Brendan smiled and nodded his head.

Brendan: "Yes I am sure. As long as you stay in this house. You are safe."

Alice calmed down and nodded her head. This made Brendan happy to know that she wouldn't try to escape him. He got up off the bed and helped Alice up. Since she didn't bring clothes, she wore some of his.

They went to the kitchen and he made them some breakfast. They ate in peace, and Alice cleaned the dishes.

Brendan choose to go to Alice's apartment to collect her things for her since her ex was still running around, and he didn't want him to catch her.

Once he get to her apartment, he saw her ex walking around the building. He was obviously looking for her. Brendan growled annoyed and upset at this man.

He got out of his car and walked up to the building. He was lucky that her ex didn't know him. He got into the building using Alice's key. The moment he walked inside, her ex pushed inside after him. Brendan rolled his eyes and watched as the man ran up the stairs, probably to Alice's apartment.

This annoyed him and he walked up the stairs, and once he got to Alice's apartment, he saw her ex banging on her door.

Ex: "BITCH I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE! OPEN THE FUCKEN DOOR YOU SLUT! I HEARD ALL ABOUT CODY MOON! YOU MUST HAVE LOVED THAT MAN'S ATTENTION YOUR LITTLE SLUT! OPEN THE FUCKEN DOOR BEFORE I KICK IT DOWN!"
