Chapter 18

Everything was going in our favor... so how?

How did everything go so wrong?

After giving it everything we had, we finally destroyed the look-alike Kuma in front of us. We were all exhausted, hell, even Luffy said it took everything in him to bring down this Kuma. What bothers me... is that this wasn't the real Kuma. Not even close.

As we all caught our breaths, we were unfortunate as a man showed up, with another one of these Kuna cyborgs. We were forced to run and dodge as many attack as we could, seeing as how none of us were in the shape to fight another Kuma.

As I was on the ground, catching my breath, I heard Usopp shouting. "Zoro!"

"Took you long enough. Uncle Kizaru." The man, who we found out was Sentamaru, said as he looked in their direction.

"Hey, Usopp! Be careful!" Robin shouted. "That man's a Navy admiral!"

No way... not only are we fighting a robot Warlord and this Sentamaru guy, but now a freaking Navy admiral?! There's no way!

Kizaru lifted his leg up and it started to glow, pointing it at Zoro who still lied on the ground. Luffy shouted for everyone to do something, but what could we do? Even if Brook and Usopp grabbed him and ran, they would be taken down in no time.

I watched as Usopp shot something at Kizaru, only for it to pass through him and Brook's sword had the same affect. So he has a Logia fruit... that's not good. Physical attacks won't work on him!

"Zoro! Try to run away! Hurry!" Chopper screamed, tears running down his face.

I turned to Robin, an idea in mind. "Do you think you'd be able to use your powers to move him away?" She turned to me, understanding what I meant and crossed her arms over her chest. Arms sprouted out of the ground, rolling Zoro away.

What I wasn't expecting, was for Kizaru to phase over to where Zoro was, stepping on his back. Now there is no where for him to go as Kizaru's leg shined above him.

"It's cute how your friends want to save you. But you're far beyond help now." Kizaru spoke up, all of us running towards the two. "Well then... time to die."

I watched as Rayleigh suddenly appeared, kicking Kizaru's leg, causing the blast to be redirected to a tree nearby. "You picked some time to come out of hiding."

I thought back to how Trafalgar Law mention how the Navy was here, hoping to catch someone. They must've been looking for Rayleigh...

As the two were conversing back and forth, I dropped to my knees in relief. "Hey, Usopp! You guys! Grab Zoro and get outta there!" Luffy shouted, bringing us back to the situation at hand.

As Usopp and Brook took off with Zoro, I looked over at Luffy. What is he planning? "Everyone start running and look after yourselves! We can't win this one! We're too weak! Get moving!"

I gasped, Luffy admitting we couldn't win a fight. I felt Robin tug my arm, helping me up as we started to run with Chopper. He realizes how bad the situation is. Hate to admit it, but if Rayleigh didn't show up... we'd be goners.

Kizaru and Rayleigh started fighting as we focused on running away. I saw an explosion in the direction that Usopp and Brook took off with Zoro. I saw that cyborg Kuma was advancing towards them. They're planning to take us out one by one!

Robin and I stopped, looking at Chopper. "Chopper! We have to keep moving!"

"Sanji!" We looked over at Usopp, seeing Kuma holding Sanji preparing an attack, then attack Usopp, who dropped Zoro.
