"For now, you all should go rest a little. We'll continue tomorrow."

At the words of their future emperor, they all left the room one by one. Alberu was alone again. However a smirk soon appeared on his face.

'The puzzle pieces are finally starting to fit together.'

The day after, Alberu gathered his group for a meeting except for the children who wanted to sleep some more.

"As you may all know, the necklace has two main powers stocked in it. The powers stocked seemed consumable. Normally black dragon-nim would be able to use only one of the main powers which is 'protection' and he is the only one capable of using the necklace.

That's what we've concluded after experimenting with it.

However during the war, we've found out new things. First 'protection' is a dragon's attribute magic whereas the other has human origins. Second, back then, only 'protection' was usable, the other had a kind of seal on it. Third, if the little dragon is in danger both of the powers would activate"

After hearing this, the party recalled their past battles. They remembered the Henituse territory battle where a fake dragon slayer had appeared. Back then if it wasn't for the necklace, the little dragon would have died.

It all happened in a flash. The helmeted knight threw his sword. The little one started to panic as the shields he created where getting destroyed one by one by this unknown power. He could feel it. His instinct were screaming at him to run away. However he did not back down. He could not afford it after seeing the nice Choi Han get blown away.
Lastly the necklace started glowing. It was the 'protection' power. It was the last resort. However it also broke after the third attack of the helmeted man.

Thinking about it again, the party could understand why it broke as it is a dragon's magic and a consumable one.

Choi Han and Rosalyn shouted for the little being to dodge and escape. We could hear in their voice how desperate they were as they were too far to reach him in time. But as the sword approached the dragon, the gem on the necklace glowed again and another shield appeared.

This one was different. It did not feel like magic and had some sort of white wings attached to it. Afterwards the shield covered the entirety of the Henituse villa protecting the citizens as well as the dragon. Then a violent gust of wind sent the enemy flying.

This moment truly was a turning point in this battle.

"Then after the first growth phase where dragon-nim got a time related attribute he suddenly became able to use both of the main powers. In the end it appeared that the second main power is a grouping of many ancient powers. To be more precise, shield, boulders, wind and fire were the ancient powers found in it."

"Wait!" interrupted Pendrick "Now that I think about it, weren't the ashes left by the fire AP in the necklace the same as those found in the hidden base ?"

"Then we can guess that the one who got rid of the remaining Arm followers and the one who gave the gem are the same person" concluded Choi Han.

"Does it mean that someone's helping us in the dark since the beginning ?" asked Rosalyn to the blind-hair who was still smiling. "If that's the case, we would have noticed something but in the past three years I didn't find anything odd"

"Actually, responded Alberu, as I was organising records and informations of all the events during the war recently, I found out this."

Papers were passed to the party. On them, they could see reports and testimonies. Those things all had a similarity. They all talked about the appearance of a mysterious man and how he solved the problems of people.

'How could we miss such big events?'
They all looked astonished by this revelation.

"Moreover, resumed the prince, thanks to the documents you've found, I can say that all those problems were in fact created by Arm"

As if this sentence was a revelation, the group all recalled abnormal moments in the past — rescued people during Harris or the wolf tribe massacre, the unexpected gratitude of the whale tribe to the Roan people, the weirdly successful uprising in the Mogoru Empire, or even the mysterious fire in the jungle which was easily extinguished.

All those things were quite small but if you were to take them all as a whole then it would be a great help.

The crown prince suddenly broke the silence.

"Now that everyone knows, I'd like you to start searching for traces of this individual. You'll first start by checking the Castle of light. Everything you do will be relayed to me through a communication device. I am counting on all of you."

After listening to all the instructions for the investigation, the group of hero's left the room so that they could quickly prepared leaving behind a smiling crown prince.

Alberu was smirking.

In fact he already knew the existence of this individual.

It all started when he received a letter informing him of an attack with magic bombs at the plaza. He had a lot of suspicions back then but after some time those became certainties.

At first he was especially cautious after all this guy was able to stay anonymous despite all his researches. All he could find out was that those letters where also send to other leaders of different nations such as the queen of the jungle, Toonka of the Whipper kingdom and even the saint twins of the now Mogoru kingdom. What was sure was that thanks to those letters, the Whipper and the Jungle were able to catch traitors and spies in their countries. As for him, in addition to the plaza incident, he also was able to get the Gyerre dukedom by his side and to prepare for the sudden attack at Puzzle city.

After this he had decided to believe in those messages and to consider it was provided by a generous information broker. To be honest even if the content was true he still thought to himself that when the WS would finally be defeated he would seriously try, this time, to uncover his identity.

However now that he actually looked into it, he was completely speechless.

Admiration and excitement could be felt as he continued investigating. The blond-hair was getting more and more impatient to meet the mysterious being. Nonetheless he was still missing the lead to track him as this person never left a trace of his passage.

Those worries soon turned into joy when his group went to report to him. Now he has clues and he will do anything to not let go of them.

Wether this individual only did it for his own interest or for something else, they needed to bring this person to their side.

The crown prince thought he would even make him the prime minister to force him to stay.

As he continued searching for different methods, Alberu could not help but also think of his group.

After all now all of this depends on what they will find in the castle.
