Chapter 5
I wake up the usual way again, with the radio blaring out the news. After I finished getting ready and as I make my way torwards the kitchen, I realize that Mom and Dad had left the TV on. I go to turn it off, when I see something that made me do a double-take.
I stared at the scrren in front of me and I see the lifeless face of the quarterback that I talked to only the night before. Then I saw his body. He had been beated, stabbed, and practically torn apart. Next to his lifeless corpse was a message written out of his own blood. It said, "I will take revenge on you."
By the way of his body, he wasn't killed by some drunk person in a fit of rage, it was done by a professional asassin who knew how to make someone expiriance the very worst of pain. At this point of time, I knew exactly who had murdered him.
