~ Amy POV ~

After our conversation, Tails brought me down into his extremely dark basement. This actually quite surprised me because Tails NEVER lets anyone down here but I guess that I'm an exception this time. Once we finally made it down each step of the staircase, Tails glanced towards me while pointing at a long table placed in the middle of the room with enough space for someone to lay down on. I also notice the weird strap buckles nailed to it as well. I took that as a sign to walk over and climb onto it even though that seemed kinda odd. Tails seemed satisfied as he now walked over to his equipment, grabbing a some sort of mask and a plain white lab coat which he then put on. Once he finally found everything he needed, Tails made his way back over to me, strapping each of the buckles to my waist, wrists, and finally my ankles. While laying on the table facing up, all I can see is Tails standing over me with a blaring light just behind him covering most of my view. He then took the mask, placing it over the lower part of my face. As soon as it fully covered my mouth and nose, everything started to fade away as my eyes were now slowly shutting.

"That's it! Sleep now and when you wake up, you'll be a brand...new...you!" Tails spoke while smiling a bit crazily, his words and figure fading out towards the end of his sentence as everything went dark. The last thing I thought while blacking out was 'I hope this makes Sonic love me'.

~ Tails POV ~

After Amy had passed out due to the anesthetic, I quickly gathered all of my tools that I needed and then got to work. A few hours had passed since I began my work on Amy but I seem to have made a lot of progress. Right as I was just about done, I hear a loud knock at the top of the basement door. 'Oh no oh no oh no!' I instantly shout in my mind as I panicked to remove my lab coat which wasn't plain white anymore, then sprinting up to the door.

~ Y/n POV ~

I was laying on my bed looking up towards the ceiling. After the events from earlier, I've been feeling really down. I mean, the last thing that I want is for Tails and Amy to be mad at me. While weighing my options as of how to make this right, only one thing came into mind. 'I need to apologize. Sitting here isn't going to do me any good. I need to fix things with them or else I'll never be able to get it off of my mind.' So with that I jumped up from my bed and walked to the door and in one swift motion, I swing it open just to see a dark sky in front of me. 'Well I guess that a little rain and thunder wont stop me.'

~ Time Skip ~

I arrived, walking into the workshop only to realize that Tails isn't here anymore. 'Hmm' I think to myself. I mean he couldn't of gone far, he almost never leaves his workshop. While thinking about it, I glanced over to the door leading down to his top secret basement. He goes down there to work on stuff quite often so it wouldn't be a bad guess. I walk over to the door and give it a knock. Right as I moved my hand away from the door I heard some equipment moving around somewhat loudly, most likely just being placed down. Just then the sound of someone running up stairs could be heard and the door swung open only for Tails to exit quite quickly, instantly shutting the door before I could peek beside him.

"Oh h-hey (Y/n)! What brings you here?" Tails questioned a bit nervously, standing up against the door behind him. "Hello! So um... I came to apologize." I stated while looking down to the floor. "I really messed up earlier. I shouldn't of gotten so mad like that. I just don't want to see Amy upset you know?" I finished, looking up to meet his eyes. He looked back towards me and smiled.

"Hey it's no problem (Y/n)! I should apologize too. I shouldn't have been mean towards you. You think we can forget all of that and put it behind us?" Tails asked while holding his hand out for me to grab. "Of course! We'll always figure things out no matter what!" I quickly respond, reaching out to shake his hand with a smile on my face. After we apologized you glanced around only to see Amy nowhere in sight.

"Hey have you seen Amy around by chance? I really need to go and talk to her too." I ask now turning my attention back to him. "Nope! Nope! Haven't seen her. She left here a long time ago actually." he explained while rubbing his gloved hand under his face. "Uhh alright? Well just let me know if you see her please." I request while turning towards the door of the workshop. "Yep will do!" Tails said, waving goodbye.

'That was certainly interesting' I think as I walk away from the building. Well if anything seems suspicious I could always go to Sonic for help but for now I'll just wait it out.

~ Amy POV ~

Suddenly my eyes start flickering opening after the procedure. As everything starts to get more clear, I notice Tails in front of me holding some kind of makeup brush, his lab coat seeming to have all kinds of colors splattered across the material. "Just a little more blusher and... perfection." Tails said, taking a step back to appreciate his work. "Sonic is gonna go nuts when he sees you! How do you feel?" He exclaimed out of excitement making me feel more sure about my choice. "I feel... different." I responded while scrunching my eyebrows together due to the new feeling. "Exactly! Different is good remember?" Tails questioned, waiting for my reply. "Yeah." I agreed, trying to get out of the restraints, ripping them from my arms and legs with no problem at all. "Different is good. Different is..." Just as I was about to reply, my only thought in that moment was Sonic. Everything Sonic flooded my brain, taking over all sense of control. I begin to speak again, my vision now clouded by my desire for him.

"AMAZING!"
