Chapter 4: Take Me Away From Here.

Atlas's Pov.

As I got Sadie in the car I wanted to make her smile. I made some funny faces at her and managed to get a giggle from her. It made me happy to see her dimples pop up on her cheeks. She and Noah make me happy. When I have a bad day we all go for ice cream. They both love Icecream. As I strapped her in I closed the door and got in the driver's seat. As I drove 10-minutes I finally got to the ice cream place. It's now 3:25 PM. We got out of the car and I can see both Sadie and Noah's bright smiles. They both hop out of the car and run up to the ice cream stand. As I walk up to the ice cream stand. We ordered what we wanted and I handed them 30 dollars and told them to keep the change. It makes me feel good when I do something nice for my siblings and others. But as we ate our ice cream I couldn't help but smile they bring me out of my depression. As we finished our ice cream Sadie and Noah hopped back in the car. I followed behind them. I got in the car and looked in my rearview mirror. To see them both smiling ear to ear. Now I can get some peace of mind. I couldn't help but smile too. As we finally got home they were both still awake. We got out of the car and I had them do their homework as I started to cook. I don't know how I can manage to do all of this at once.

 "Dad?" Sadie said. 

"yes, my love?" I asked.

" Can you help me with this?" she asked me. I agreed and came over. Noah had all straight A's so I didn't have much to worry about. I wanted them both to be great. Better than me. I helped her and she smiled. I walked back over to the stove and continued cooking. 

"Hey dad I want to be on the football team," Noah said looking somewhat embarrassed. I glanced at him.

"Noah," I said.

"No I know it was a stupid idea. I shouldn't have asked," he said.

"No Noah. I was going to say that is an amazing idea," I said smiling. 

"Like you have straight A's and I think it would be an amazing idea. It can also make you have a scholarship!" I said excitedly. He smiled.

 "Do we have the money for it?" he asked. I paused. My heart fell to my ass. 

"Yes, My love money shouldn't be a problem. I have money put up for you guys. You and Sadie shouldn't be worried about money. I got it." I said smiling at him. He sighed in relief. It was soon 7:30 PM and I finished making dinner and I gave them some Kool-Aid. I made Shepard's pie. (Shepard's pie is Cheese, Mash potatoes, ground beef with corn, and green beans. Let me tell yall it's the best shit ever!!!)They enjoyed that too. As they ate I sat down and ate with them. They finally finished their food. They both knew whoever finished first has to take a bath Sadie finished first. 

"Sadie you know where the speaker is in the bathroom, make sure you don't touch it while you are wet, make sure you wash your face too my love," I told her she smiled and nodded. 

"Okay good night I love you, daddy," she said after kissing me on the cheek. She walked upstairs and I looked at Noah. 

"Noah. Tomorrow after I go to Sadies school we will go shopping for your football stuff," I told him with a smile. He was extremely excited to hear that. 

"Okay dad!" he said as he smiled and kept eating.

"Honestly you shouldn't worry about money. I got it all under control," I told him.

 "Okay dad!" he said as he ate. I sat there and finished my food and put my dish in the sink. 20-minutes later Sadie got out of the shower and it was Noah's turn. He finished his food and went to take a shower.

"Noah?" I said

"Yes dad?" he said in confusion. 

"I love you good night"
