My whole life was a lie. My heart was played with like some sick game. All those years I spent trying to figure out why they didn't love me and I finally know why. You didn't belong to them, you were taken. 

I hated myself for years, I loved people that could never return it for fucking years! I was destroyed from the inside out to the point where them selling me was the best thing they could have done to me! There was never anything wrong with me, it was them. Those monsters took me from my family, my real family. Do I really have any siblings? A mother? A father? Is everyone I could have been raised by dead? Who am I? Who was I supposed to be? What is my actual birthday? My real last name? The thoughts kept pouring into my head as tears ran down my face, and my heart was bumping to the point I could hardly breathe. 

"Leoanna?" Is that even my name?

"Princess, look at me." I just can't. I have so much on my mind.

"Hey, hey. Don't cry. Breathe." I felt Anthony's arms wrap around me, squeezing me tightly. I completely broke when I was in his arms with my head to his chest. I dealt with so much abuse that I have PTSD flashbacks and grew up thinking it was normal. I was so happy before this but you know what they say, the truth hurts. My body was shaking against Anthony. He just held me close and told me to breathe, he even began counting me through it. He is charming.

When I was calmer, I moved away from him. I got tears in his dress shirt. "Shit I am so sorry about your shirt."

"It's a shirt. I could care less about it. Right now, I am worried about you. Princess, you just had a panic attack. Do you want to talk?"

"What's there to talk about? The fact that I don't know my real family or the fact Hyun has had a mole to stalk me for him for almost a year?"

I noticed his jaw tick. "Neither of those things is your fault and if I ever get my hands on those people I am gonna get every fucking detail I can get out of them. I promise you, we'll find out everything we can about where you came from. If we don't, you always have our family."

I looked into his baby blue eyes and felt a throb in my heart. He is right. I am a Rivers in one way or another. "Yeah, I have you and the other Rivers."

I sighed and stood up from the bed. "So, where are we off to?" 

"Derek hasn't sent the address yet. Don't worry, Princess. Everything is gonna be okay."

"Hyun, Bryce has returned. The Rivers have caught on to your plan."

He looked up from his desk to only give me a blank look. "Thank you for the update. Anything else?"

I shifted a bit from one foot to the other. "Why must you take her away from them? Anthony and Leo seem...happy, she isn't interested in yo-" 

I shut my mouth and dodge the glass that was thrown my way, falling to the ground. "It isn't about interest in me or love or revenge or sex, you idiotic cunt." He smiled and stood up from his desk.

"No no no, it is about just having her. She is so headstrong and bold, I want that. I want to break it. She did me a favor getting my father killed, now I am in charge. Leoanna is a woman that is right in the center of pain and misery for others without even realizing it."

Hyun walked over to me, kneeling in front of me. His hand reached for my chin which made me flinch but he still made me look at him. "Do not question me when it comes to my interest. Just keep your mouth shut and no harm will come to you. A pretty little thing like you doesn't need any more issues, correct?"

I nodded my head. He dropped my chin, standing up again. "Use better make-up, I can see the black eye from my desk. Clean up this glass and meet me in the den.  I am meeting Leoanna's lovely parents this evening."

He left me alone to pick up the shards. I couldn't help but cry about where I ended up and the condition I am in. I didn't let the blood on my hand bother me too much as I rubbed my stomach. "Don't worry, little one. Everything will be okay as long as Mommy does what is asked of her."

Or until Maxwell gets the warning I sent him.
