"My toes are so numb, gotta wiggle them. Little fuckers" Hunter tries to flex his foot as I sit on his lap, concerned that im going to crush him. "Are you sure this isnt hurting you fucking christ" I say

"Positive, please stay" he says as he puts his hands around my waist pulling me closer. "Clingy"

Emily plays a few cords on her sick all black and red cello, "God this fucking bow is fucked" She says, throwing the bow directly at Hunters injured leg. "Fuck!" He says, jumping a little. "Im so sorry, sorry sorry sorry" She says

"Congratulations bronze medalists!" Mr Sylvester says walking down the stairs, "Silver medalists actually, we got second" Kevin adds.

"Jesus Hunter you sure sure she should be sitting on you right now?" he asks, throwing a newpaper on my lap. "Were fine, thanks though" Hunter says, I look at the paper and Hunters screaming face is plastered on the front page.

"You're viral" His dad mentions, pointing to his face. "Well at least I didnt get arrested, so- progress?" Hunter tells his dad, as he chuckles at his sons joke.

"No such thing as bad publicity right?" I say, his dad pats him on the shoulder and leaves back to the stairs. "Oh and I got a date! Shes a pediatrician, big tits. Natural, not a client" he brags as he makes his way up the staircase. Hunter is obviously embarrassed and groans. "Fuck her up!" I shout teasingly "I will" his dad says, giving a thumbs up from the top of the stairs

I try and contain my laughter, Kevin and Emily snicker at my joke and Hunter laughs a bit too. "Shut up" He says with a smile.

"I cant believe we got 2nd" Emily says, "No its cool, theyre good guys. The people have spoken, thats what they want" Hunter says

"No, fuck em" Kevin shrugs off the loss of the band. "Yep, fuck em!" I say passionately, "Every single one" Emily adds

"Who are people going to remember, us! Thats us, headlining." Kevin points at the newspaper.

"You guys were good" I say, "We were werent we?" Hunter says, "No, we were fucking amazing!" Kevin admits with a proud look on his face.

"You were fucking amazing" Hunter says, looking at Emily. "Yeah you smashed that intro dude" I agree, giving her a smile. "Yeah that was some Yo-Yo Ma shit!" Kevin says, proud of his girlfriend.

"And your solo??" Emily says, "I fucking killed it!!" Hunter admits, also very proud of what he did. "You were unreal oh my fuck" I say, "Thank you, but what about this motherfucker huh?" Hunter points directly at Kevin whos adjusting his seat on the drums and smiles bashfully

"Oh my man slapped them in the face with his double bass dick" Emily says out of the blue, we all collectively stare at her trying to understand what she meant. "Yeah, yes I did" Kevin says with a smile

"Let them have their fads, fads come at go. Not us though, were forever" Hunter declares, "Now it starts for us, now people know our name!" Emily almost shouts out.

I smile at the band members, "Skullflower!!" The three of them shout, Hunter looks at me "Even you" He says, I have a confused smile on my face "The fuck did I do?" I ask, he looks at Kevin and Emily and they nod.

"We were talking, and I know we said we didnt need a bassist, but it would be pretty sick if we had a bassist" Emily smiles at me, "Fuck off, I couldn't!" I say, "Yes you can, Hunter told us how good you are" Kevin adds on.

I look at Hunter whos smiling a lot, I shake my head at him, I think about how cool it would be to be in a band, Its practically my dream. "Fine" I give in and they all start to cheer, "Skullflower, Skullflower, skullflower!!" We all chant.

"Fuck we rip"
