Third Person's POV:

for the first time in forever, ryujin was excited and was looking forward to their date, their first official date, though they're not yet official

she chose a simple yet elegant black split pencil dress with heels matching her dress, carrying her customised Gucci purse

as for yeji, she wore a black pant jumpsuit with mules from Gucci, with a small handbag

well since it's their first official date after learning their feelings for one another, it's only right to make this date more meaningful so yeji reserved the fanciest restaurant in town for the both of them, which by the way is their favourite restaurant. bought ryujin's favourite flower; daisy. and planned everything out.

"ryujinah, you ready?" yeji knocked on ryujin's door

"yes, almost" came the reply

"I'll wait for you downstairs"

yeji went down quickly and grab the beautiful bouquet and was standing in front of the stairs as she was waiting for ryujin

of course, nothing can compare to the beauty of the girl walking down the stairs,

"good evening beautiful" yeji hold out her palm which the latter gladly took, "flowers for her majesty" yeji joked as she gave the flowers to ryujin

"thank you, they are beautiful," she said and smiled

"shall we?"

"gladly"

they arrived at the restaurant and were greeted by the waiter who'll be at their service for the dinner

yeji already ordered their menu for the night. for the appetiser, she ordered 'Pomegranate-Avocado Salsa with Spiced Chips'. as for the main course the classic dinner date menu was 'Rib-eye steak with pastrami sauce and red wine' and for the dessert 'Cream Brûlée' their all time favourites

the whole dinner was worth it, ryujin told her how she catch feelings for the latter and yeji was more than grateful for waiting for her because there's a chance that she'll be rejected if she confessed... sigh the universe surely has its ways

"So who's that girl?" ryujin asked

"who's that girl?"

"your 'date',"

"ahh, you mean miyeon? she's the girl my grandparents set me up with, but don't worry. she already found someone she's interested in and we decided to stay as friends"

ryujin nodded

"don't tell me you were jealous?" yeji chuckled

"and what do you expect?" ryujin rolled her eyes "...just wait, I will personally go on a blind date to provoke you" she smirked

"don't you ever dare" yeji glared at her

"Woah, easy there kitty. how can I go on a date when the perfect date is right in front of me"

"much better, you better not" yeji said

"yes ma'am"

the rest of the night was spent with laughter, both having the best night of their life...

after the dinner, they decided to go home

"I had a lot of fun today yeddeong" ryujin thanked her as they went in

"me too. thank you for having fun"

ryujin smiled, "did you tell your parents about us, I mean we're not yet together but-"

yeji cut her off because she knew ryujin was going to ramble
"relax, not yet but I told grandma. and she's super duper supportive. I was planning on telling my parents maybe tomorrow. why?"

"no, I was just thinking, because grandpa and grandma already set you up with someone else" yes, ryujin called my grandparents like that, that's how close we are

"well they didn't know my heart already belongs to someone" I smiled at her "go and change, it has been a long a night, you need to get your beauty sleep"

she nodded and went upstairs to her room,

I decided to call grandma but I realised it was 11 pm so she might have slept...

my phone rang and my heart skipped a beat, oh how I wish it was grandma who called but it was grandpa

I took a deep breath and picked up the call, "hey grandpa"

"Are you asleep?" wow grandpa's not even greeting me

"no, I am planning to. what's the matter, for you to call me this late?"

"your grandma told me" of course she has, now I am sure the whole family will know about this

"ahh, yes about that-"

"do you really like her or are you doing this so you can escape these blind dates?" he cuts me off and asked me

I got offended but it was not wrong of him to think about it that way, "grandpa I am not that cruel enough to play with feelings, yes I might or might not have thought of escaping this set-up, but the only reason i wanna escape is because of ryujin..." I paused and continued "... I really like her and I will break my own rules for her"

"And you said that you two are only friends," he said

"I said that because I don't want her to be in trouble."

I hear him sigh, "alright come meet me tomorrow, I wanna talk to you about this face to face"

"Alright, have a good night sleep grandpa"

"good night to you too, sweetheart"

I sigh a breath of relief. of course I am close to my grandfather too, but not to the extent where you can joke when he's serious. I can do that with grandma but not with grandpa...

I went upstairs to my room and took a hot shower, I recalled what happened today and I can't seem to stop smiling.

imagine your crush liking you back. hah bet you can't *smirk*

after the relaxing hot shower, I did my nightly routine and went out, put on my pyjamas and sat down on my desk to continue reading the book when I heard a knock on my door

"come in"

ryujin peeked from the door,

"Are you busy?" she asked me

"not at the moment, no. why?" I asked back. the book reading can wait

she entered and stood in front of me, "cuddle time?" she innocently asked

"you're so random sometimes," I smiled and got up from my seat "come on," I said and put out my hand for her to take it, which not so surprisingly she happily took it and dragged me towards the bed

cuddling with ryujin is the best thing ever, you felt peaceful and calm

"grandpa called," I told her

she hummed, "what did he say?"

"he asked me a few things about us, and said he wanted to talk about this face to face tomorrow"

"is he mad? what if he didn't accept us? or me?"

she was nervous, "relax, we're gonna be fine, and no he didn't sound mad so don't worry about it. I will deal with it"

"I really hope we'll be fine because I don't wanna lose you, I really don't"

"you won't, now get your beauty sleep"

she sigh in contentment and a few minutes later she slept, she must be tired to sleep this easily, but then again she can sleep anywhere and anytime so I'm not surprised
