Kinn POV
I knew my dad would call us sometime soon. I had started preparing for this confrontation when I failed to make the deal a success. But I was more scared about Juno now. We did not know how he was going to react. we did not know if he was going to let us keep her or send her away. But no matter what I will fight for her and make sure she isn't abandoned again.
Chan called us " Mr. Kinn and Porsche, Mr.Korn is calling you both." We both were walking while we held our hands together with one arm and Juno in my other arm. I sat in front of my father. Porsche greeted him and he was also asked to sit down. Then he started speaking " I heard you failed to sign the deal" "Yes, I failed to plan things well" I replied. He continued "and you also brought a baby home."
We nodded, "We saw her crying, abandoned in a room and we just couldn't leave her." "but then you know this world is too dangerous for her. And you still want to let her stay here." "Pa, we will make sure we protect her with all our might." "Okay. Bring her to me." I handed Juno over to him." "She is really pretty. Take good care of her. Also, you know how did she end up there right?", he asked me with a concerned look.
I asked Porsche to take her with him and wait outside. He took her from my father and went outside. then I started speaking, "Yes, there is another mafia family. the son of the head and the prostitute conceived and had her without an intention to have her. The prostitute had vanished for months and returned. The son called for over her to meet him with the intention of killing both the mother and daughter. But when they heard the commotion outside, they both ran away on their own abandoning the baby."
My father sighed "What are you going to do now?" "It was luck that we found Juno and we have her now with us. That mafia family was punished well for their deeds and the prostitute was also taken care of." "Okay. Always make sure she is loved and never feels that she is abandoned." I nodded and replied " Porsche and I will make sure that we become good fathers."
