Seokjin couldn't sleep at all, he couldn't get the thought of the dragon out of his head, he protected him but he seemed very angry and almost sad, Jin could see it in his eyes. He couldn't wait till morning to see the beautiful purple dragon again, he just hopes he's nicer to him this time since he's bringing him sweets. When Dawn finally broke Jin got up, washed, and dressed in some of nicer clothes, he went to the kitchen and baked the dragon all sorts of cookies and different flavor cakes since he wasn't sure what he liked best. He left before anyone woke up but left a note saying he was visiting a friend and would be back before dark, he grabs the basket and starts his walk toward the woods.
He finds the cave easily and when he enters it's dark and damp, the smell of wet moss invades his nose but he keeps going. "HELLO", Jin yells, "ARE YOU HERE, MR. DRAGON." He walks slowly toward the back of the cave hoping to see the dragons fire, he hears a sigh in the darkness. "Why are you here", Taehyung says just above a whisper. "Good morning", Jin says toward the voice in the dark, "you helped me yesterday and I wanted to thank you properly, so I brought you some sweets from my families bakery." It was quiet for a moment, Jin held his breath, afraid that he upset the dragon until he saw a flash of light and then the cave lit up.
Taehyung lit the fire and Jin can see him laying down with his head resting on his arms, "sweets huh, come closer to the light, you're the bakers son." Jin walks closer to the fire, "yes we are new in the kingdom." "Jimin was right, you are exquisite, your beauty is something out of a painting", he says raising his head to look at the boy better.
"You know Jimin", Jin asks. "He's my brother", Tae says poking a claw into the basket of goodies. Jin giggles and pulls the basket away from the nosy dragon, "let me feed you, I didn't realize your hands are so big you will never be able to hold these, I have cookies and cakes, which do you prefer." "I prefer you", Tae says in a low growl.
Jin giggles again, "be serious, cookie or cake." "I was being serious but for right now I'll take some cake", Tae licks his lips. Jin grabs the cakes out of the basket and brings them to Tae, he can see the blush on Jin's cheeks and realizes just how beautiful he truly is, "open up." Tae opens his mouth and sticks his tongue out so that Jin can place the cakes on it, he pulls the cakes into his mouth and chews, "these are delicious, give me more." "Please", Jin says holding the cakes away from Taehyung. "Excuse me, you want me to say what", Tae asks. "Say please and I'll give you all the sweets you want", Jin says smiling and Taehyung's resolve actually falters for a minute at the beautiful sight.
He rolls his eyes, "please may I have more cake." "Yes you may", Jin giggles. He fed Tae all the cakes till they were gone, "I'll make them bigger next time." "They were perfect", he says rubbing his belly, "so what's your name anyway." "Seokjin, what's yours", he asks the dragon. "Taehyung", he says flipping back over and sitting up. "Why does that name sound familiar", Jin asks.
"I don't know, I'm sure it's very common in the kingdom", Tae says not wanting Jin to know who he is. "Maybe, so now what, what do you do for fun", Jin asks. "Who says I want you to stay, I don't do anything fun", Tae says grumpily. "Oh, if you want me to leave I will", Jin picks up his basket and starts to walk away. "Uh No, you can stay if you want, I kind of like the company", Tae says hurriedly, not wanting the boy to leave.
"I would love to stay and keep you company, what shall we do then", Jin asks sitting by the fire. Tae shrugs, "don't know, I don't do anything really." "Lets talk then, me first, why can you talk", Jin asks. Tae laughs, "right to the point huh, well I am not really a dragon Seokjin, a curse was put on me by a witch, I am actually a human." Jin's eyes grow wide, "a curse but why, what did you do." Tae sighs laying his head down on his arms again, "I was selfish and I used people to get what I want, I used them and threw them away." "Are you sorry you did that to people", Jin asks, "and will that break the spell."
Taehyung lifted his head and looked at the beautiful boy sitting across from him, was he sorry, did he feel remorse for hurting all those people, "I don't Seokjin, I am used to getting everything I want, I cant be blamed when people throw themselves at me." Jin was shocked by what he just heard, he wasn't sure how to respond so he just changed the subject, "do you know what will break the spell." "I don't", Tae lied, he didn't want to lead Jin down a path that might hinder his being returned to a human, so he chose not to give that detail. "Aren't you lonely here, does Jimin come to visit", Jin asks. "Sometimes he does, he hasn't come in awhile, I think with me gone he has taken on a lot at home", Tae says sighing.
"Let me ask you some questions now", Tae says sitting back up and playing with his tail, "how old are you." "18", Jin responds. "What is your family like", he asks next. "My mother and father are wonderful people, they love my brother and I very much and want us to be happy, my big brother Jungkook is very over protective of me, he has chased off many suitors already not liking any of them", Jin giggles. "You sound very happy, I am envious of your relationship with your brother, I am not very nice to my siblings", Tae says sheepishly. "Why not, Taehyung siblings are very important, they are not only blood to you but can be your best friend, be the ally you need when no one else has your back, without Jungkook I would be lost", Jin says moving closer to the dragon.
"May I touch you, your scales are so beautiful I wish I could see them in the sunlight", Jin says reaching a hand out hesitantly. The dragon nodded and when Jin touched his tail, Taehyung flinched, feeling sparks, his whole body heated up and didn't understand what was going on. "Are you okay, did I hurt you", Jin asked. "No, its just I haven't been touched by anyone since becoming like this, it felt nice, we can go outside if you want, someone as beautiful as you shouldn't be sitting in this damp smelly cave", Taehyung says standing up. Once they were outside Jin was in awe of the dragons beauty, "you are so beautiful Taehyung, are you just as beautiful in human form too."
"I'm not beautiful Seokjin, I am a monster", Tae says sadly. "You are no monster, at least not to me", Jin says patting his snout. Taehyung smiles and Jin laughs, "who knew dragons had such big dopey grins." Tae laughed, "my brother said it was scary, is it." "Not at all, its very charming, and very adorable", Jin says smiling to the dragon. "I have an idea if you are willing to be adventurous", Tae says, "want to fly with me."
