Getting closer

Over the next several days Jin has visited Taehyung everyday and Taehyung waits impatiently for Jin to arrive, he has strange feelings when he sees the boy and has never been so excited to see anyone in his life. Last night he even went to the nearby lake and bathed so that he would look good for Jin when he came, he is running late and Tae is getting antsy, he wants to go look for him but knows he cant go near the village. A short time later Tae is in his cave pouting when he hears, "Taehyungie, I'm here." He immediately stands and runs to the boy that he has grown attached to, "finally, I was worried sick about you, I almost came to find you." Jin walked up to take and hugged his snout making Tae smile.

"No Tae you can never come near the village, they will hurt you and I cant have that", Jin says taking out the lunch he packed for them. "Why not", Tae asks curiously. Jin smiled but didn't look at the dragon, "because you are my friend and if you got hurt, I would be sad." "Your friend", Tae asks a little disappointed, "guess you couldn't really love a dragon could you." 'What are you whispering over there", Jin asks walking toward Tae. "Nothing", he says glumly.

"Open wide, I made you some big sandwiches with some of my father's famous bread", Jin says placing his hand on Tae's snout. He opens his mouth so Jin can feed him, he loves the attention Jin gives him, when he touches him and takes care of him, Tae feels his heart constrict, he has never felt like this before for anyone and he is afraid that Jin will only ever see him as a friend. "Is it good Taehyungie", Jin asks eating his own sandwich. "Its delicious Jinnie, you are going to make me fat if you keep feeding me so well", Tae teases. Jin stands and hugs Tae's snout again, "I love taking care of my friends."

Jin and Tae spent the whole day together, he took Jin to the lake and they played around in the water for a little while and then laid out in the sun, "Jinnie, do you have someone special in your life." Tae has been hesitant to ask this question because he didn't want to hear the answer, someone who looks like Jin doesn't stay single, "no, Jungkook doesn't allow anyone close to me." Jin giggles, "how about you Taehyungie, did you have a special friend before you were cursed." "No one, I wasn't a very nice person Seokjin, I used a lot of people and threw them away", Tae says sadly. He feels Jin climb on his belly, laying down looking at him with his hands on his arms, "you are not that person anymore Taehyungie."

Tae smiles looking down at the beauty laying on him, he soon hears light snores and tries not to laugh or he will wake him, he is becoming attached to the boy and thinks he finally knows what love truly is, Seokjin has taught him to see people for who they are and not what they can give you, he sighs and closes his eyes enjoying the closeness he feels with Jin right now. Jin wakes up a short time later and sees Tae sleeping with his mouth open and his tongue hanging out of his mouth, he can't help but giggle, he needs to get home so he spreads his arms on either side of Tae's belly and tries to tickle him, Tae woke up abruptly and fire shot from his nose, "holy cow what was that." 

Tae looked at Jin, "you scared me and I snorted." Jin laughs sliding off Tae and going around to hug his snout, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, I wanted to tickle you." "It's okay Jinnie, you have to go huh", Tae says sadly, sitting up. "Don't be sad Taehyungie", Jin says hugging his belly, "you know I will be here tomorrow with more good food." They walk back to the cave so Jin could grab his basket, feeding Tae the last of the sandwiches and cakes, "Seokjin, has Jimin visited you." "Nope, I haven't seen him since that day at the Jung's farm", Jin says. Tae nods, "you'll be here tomorrow." "Yes, I have to do my chores first, then I'll be here, good night Taehyung, dream of me", he winks walking away. "Oh I will, you can bet on it", Tae says in a whisper.

When Jin made it home his dad was waiting for him, "Seokjin, where have you been going everyday." "To visit a sick friend, I told you that Papa, I bring him food and he is so grateful for my company because he is so lonely, he has no family", Jin says hugging his father. "You are a such a sweet person Jinnie, I just worry about you being gone all day", he says.

Back at the cave Taehyung lays by his fire thinking of Jin, how Jin makes him laugh and smile, no one has ever done that for him, "Taehyung." He lifts his head to see Jimin, "hey little brother, long time no see." "I know, mom and dad are trying to get me ready to take the throne, any chance you found your true love because I can't do this as good as you", Jimin says sitting down by the fire. "It's hard, I know, I think that's why I am the way I am was because of all the training and school plus mom and dad spoiling me, I'm sorry Jimin for always being a jerk to you", Tae says playing with his tail. 

Jimin sniffles, "I'm sorry for not realizing what you were going thru and how hard it truly is." "Have you been courting the bakers son like you wanted", Tae asks trying find out where Jimin's feelings are. "No, dad said that was uncalled for because he isn't royalty, I have been courting the princess from another kingdom, I haven't seen Seokjin since that day at Hobi's", Jimin says. "So if I change back you will give the crown to me or you'll keep it", Tae asks. "You can have it, like I said you are more cut out for this than me", he says chuckling. "I will marry the one that changes me back, I hope mom and dad are ready for that, especially if they aren't royalty", Tae says determined.
