Raon's kindergarten teacher definitely hated him.

Kim Rok Soo had felt the man's glare from the first day he'd brought Raon to the kindergarten. He tried not to pay it much mind, the guy seemed like a good teacher and he was going to become pivotal to creating a stable and happy environment for Raon to recover.

Children need to learn in order to grow.

Kim Rok Soo didn't need Raon's teacher to like him so he didn't bother with it. He kept his distance, politely greeting him, but decided against getting too close for fear of further aggravating that hatred.

Seriously, if looks could kill.

That was why Kim Rok Soo was starting to feel a bit anxious of late.

Previously the kindergarten teacher had mostly kept his distance. He'd always keep his eye on Kim Rok Soo and glare at him until he'd left the premises, as if daring him to commit some heinous crime in his line of sight.

But these days, it felt as though Choi Han was trying to start a conversation with him.

It had been about a month, maybe two, since it started. Kim Rok Soo theorized that it was because he was late to pick up the kids that one time and Choi Han was going to give him a piece of his mind.

Kim Rok Soo didn't want to hear it. And more importantly, Choi Han was kind of scary.

Getting lectured by a five foot nothing sweet looking woman about showing up on time wasn't very intimidating.

But a man roughly his own height who had just so many muscles. Why was a kindergarten teacher so muscular? Did he use the children as dumbbells? These questions needed answering but Kim Rok Soo didn't want to know.

The important part was that Raon loved his class and he loved his teacher. There wasn't a day that went by that Raon didn't enlighten Kim Rok Soo as to the amazing activity that Choi Han had arranged for the class as they walked home together.

Choi Han was very good at getting the kids active and passionate about healthy exercise. He was also a very patient teacher with comprehensive lessons.

Although Kim Rok Soo figured that when your lessons consisted of 'learning to count to ten', it would be harder to create an incomprehensive lesson.

The point was that despite Kim Rok Soo's apprehension of the muscular, terrifying, and clearly angry kindergarten teacher there simply wasn't any fault to find in him other than disliking Kim Rok Soo.

Which, again, was fine. He just really really didn't like the way that Choi Han had begun to power walk in his direction when he arrived to pick up Raon. It was a little scary.

"Did you have fun at school?" Kim Rok Soo asked, gathering Raon into his arms and pretending that he didn't see the swiftly approaching teacher. Maybe he could rush away and make it look natural like he was pretending to be late–

Hong tugged on his pant leg. "Rok Soo... I think that teacher wants to talk to you."

Damnit, Hong. Kim Rok Soo closed his eyes, taking a deep breath and turning to face his fate. If he'd looked down, he would have noticed the pitying look that On was giving him as she patted his leg sympathetically.

He'd gotten really good at avoiding him though, even when he got caught like this.

"Kim Rok Soo." Choi Han's gaze was as intense as ever and Kim Rok Soo did his best to avoid it.

"Ah, teacher. Thank you for looking after Raon again today." He put on his best polite smile, attempting to edge away. "I have to go shopping for dinner so I'll be going..."
