Choi Han was determined to drive him crazy.

That was the only plausible explanation for his behavior.

Kim Rok Soo had considered the situation over and over again in endless loops and there was only one possible motivating factor for Choi Han to behave the way he did.

He was secretly a sadistic monster with an agenda to drive Kim Rok Soo slowly mad.

Of course when Choi Han asked to spend the night, he said yes. How could he say no? The man had spent the majority of his day helping out and treating the children with all the affectionate love and care of a parent.

What the hell was he supposed to say? No? Get out? And of course that meant that Choi Han had to sleep somewhere and they'd already shared a bed once before so it made a lot more sense to do that then let the poor sweet man sleep on the floor or the couch.

And Kim Rok Soo hadn't been able to breathe because now he was sober and could enjoy the warmth of Choi Han next to him, breathing steadily and sleeping peacefully without a care in the fucking world.

Obviously like everything else that happened with Choi Han, one incident became many. And instead of Choi Han spending the night just once because of Hong's pleading, the man spent most weeknights and nearly every weekend sleeping alongside Kim Rok Soo. Albeit with the children all stacked on top of and between them so nothing really happened but it definitely left Kim Rok Soo wondering if he was the only person who hadn't gone entirely insane.

Now that Choi Han had toiletries here, he showered here too. And that wasn't a sight Kim Rok Soo had been prepared for.

The devious monster hadn't put on a shirt when he'd entered the kitchen to answer Kim Rok Soo's call to taste test dinner. There were still droplets of water running along his neck and down his muscles as he obediently ate the food proffered by Kim Rok Soo.

Kim Rok Soo didn't consider himself to be a perverse person. He didn't put much thought into dating or sex or anything of the like. He didn't oggle men or women when attractive ones were presented before him.

But there was something absolutely maddening about the sight of Choi Han half naked, dripping wet, in his house, and obeying his every command.

With shaking pupils, Kim Rok Soo nodded dumbly to whatever Choi Han said and turned his attention back to his stew.

He was cooking for the children. His heart pounded loudly in his chest. The very same children who liked to proclaim loudly that the pair were already married and just didn't know it yet.

Kim Rok Soo wasn't a fool. He understood that his crush had long since morphed into something more. How could it not? Choi Han was effortlessly likable. He was kind and considerate and he always wore such a bright smile to greet Kim Rok Soo that it made him want to hit a wall.

Sometimes, people could be just so cute and endearing that the only answer was violence.

Unfortunately Kim Rok Soo wasn't a violent person and he wouldn't do anything as senseless as hitting a wall and so he was instead left with the ongoing desire to kiss that ridiculous smile right off of Choi Han's stupidly handsome face.

Which would be a problem because Kim Rok Soo liked their current situation.

He liked being able to depend on Choi Han and to have Choi Han depend on him in return. He liked how much more relaxed he felt these days. He liked coming home and having four bright faces welcome him. He liked how good Choi Han was with the kids. He liked how everything in the world just felt good when Choi Han would look at him.
