the next morning general meeting.

between missions and meetings, our time is well spent.

when i arrive in the room bucky hasn't arrived.

i take a seat between wanda and sam.

i get on really well with both of them.

i have a little trouble with bruce but that's mainly because of our age difference.

One of my favourites is Rocket. unfortunately he's not around much. we used to tease Bucky all the time before.

And to think that he used to like me.

And I was his mission too.

I don't like to think about it, it wasn't him, but it still hurts. He knows that.

oddly enough, bucky walks into the room at this point.

he takes control of our relationship.

he comes and stands in front of me without breaking our eye contact.

he smirks.

i blush and lower my head.

i really like our teams but my god these meetings are so boring.

totally in my thoughts, i feel a foot under the table.

I just have to look up to see who it is.

he moves his foot up my calf.

I don't know where to put myself.

Steve looks at us.

Bucky doesn't break his gaze.

An hour later the meeting ends.

Peter comes to talk to me.

"Another boring meeting, eh?" he asks me.

"Oh yeah" I laugh.

I see bucky watching us.

He starts to stare at Peter.

Oh no. I like peter, don't tell me bucky is having a jealousy fit?

"How was your mission in Washington?" he asks me.

"pretty good, Bucky and I worked well together, we made a good team" I tell him

Peter turns to look at Bucky

"is he always like that?"

I laugh

he's right, bucky is with his killer look.

He's not like that.

"If you ever want to change partners..." says Peter

my eyes fall on bucky's.

"that's sweet peter, but I'll be able to handle bucky again"

"okay" he says to me

there's an awkward silence

"I'll go" he says

I leave the room and Bucky follows me.

I close the door and without saying a word he turns me around and kisses me.

I laugh.

"what did he want from you parker?"

"He asked me if I wanted to change partners."

Without leaving our proximity, he looks me straight in the eye.

"are you serious?"

"hmm hmm"

"and what did you tell him?"

"I told him it was my pleasure because I was having a lot of trouble with my partner" I say

"that's not funny, ellie"

I laugh

"Yes it is"

"not to me, everybody knows that Peter likes you"

"What? Nonsense"

He pulls away from me.

"Oh please, I see how he looks at you"

Maybe he's right, Tony's already tried to get me close to him but I didn't think it meant anything.

"all men look at you that way anyway" he tells me

"Excuse me?"

"You know what I mean"

"no, you know that not every guy is trying to get into my pants right?"

"you'd be surprised"

Is this a joke?

"you can't tell who i can and can't have sex with, because it's not your buissnes"

"are you gonna have sex with him?"

he approaches me.

I'm about to say something but he cuts me off.

"watch that mouth"

"you never told me we were together, did you?" I say

He pushes me against the door.

"I thought it was pretty clear"

I don't say anything back. Of course I know that, and I'd never go anywhere else anyway. But hearing him say that is different.

"You want me to remind you?"

I nod.

he comes up to me and kisses me, but not a gentle kiss.

a passionate, wild kiss.

he places his hand between my thighs.

"Buck, the others might hear us."

"let make sure peter hears you saying my same"

God. This man is driving me crazy. And just with words.

He's amazing.

He brings me to my bed when there's a knock on the door.

pannicked bucky hides behind the door.

i quickly put my hair back on.

i open the door and tony is there.

"hi tony"

"Hi, Ellie."

"What brings you here?" I ask him.

"Peter told me he offered you a new partner."

"Yes, he did."

"I wanted you to know that I can talk to fury, don't feel obliged to stay with bucky"

"Oh no, it's all right."

"No, really, Ellie, you have to tell me."

"I'm fine with him."

"Are you sure?"

and what had to happen happened.

bucky comes up from behind me with one hand on my hip.

"She said it was okay."

Tony swallows, and looks me in the eye.

he walks away without saying anything.

when i close the door i am filled with laughter.

Bucky puts me back on the bed and finishes what he started.

We stay there all day. everything is perfect
