I thought the next day was going to be similar to the last, but I was mistaken. Now the word was really out: me and Draco were dating. We pass people in the hallway who whisper, or sometimes even walk straight up to us and told us they had shipped us the whole time. I blushed, knowing that this wasn't real. Me and Draco had potions together in the afternoon so we headed in together. We had tried our best not getting our "relationship" to the teachers. It was not an affair they needed to be involved in.
We sat separately, because we knew we would be paired up anyways."Today we will be trying to brew the strengthening solution... again. You all failed miserably last time." Professor Snape, with out emotion.
"You will get into your pairs from last time." He said and everyone shuffled across the classroom to their pairs.
I knew right where Draco was located because we have been exchanging looks to each other across the room the whole time. I came to sit next to him, and told him to grab the right ingredients this time.I sit alone, swinging my leg on the stool, when Professor Snape walks up to me.
"So.. You and Draco, huh?" He grunts. I choke on my spit in surprise. Snape knows!?
"You must be wondering how I know.." He says. I nod, still unable to speak.
"Word gets around." Snape shrugs. In that moment, Draco walks up behind Snape.
"What's going on here?" Draco chuckles nervously, "I hope y/n hasn't messed up the potion already! We haven't even gotten all the ingredients yet..."
"I was just talking to y/n about you and her.." Snape says. Draco blushes.
"You mean, you know? You know about us?" Draco asks. Snape nods mysteriously. He starts walking away, but whispers under his breath to Draco, "Treat her well."When Professor Snape had officially left, Draco started laughing his head off.
"Snape! Shipping us!? This is the funniest thing that has ever happened in my life." Draco snorted. I laughed along with him.
"I guess we really are Hogwart's Favorite Couple.." Draco says shaking off the laughter. He finally sits down, organizing his ingredients. I took out the cauldron and motioned for Draco to start adding the ingredients.
"I'll just mess it up" I explain. He shrugs and starts adding Ingredients. I watch him as he brews the potion and when he finishes he lets me present it to Professor Snape.
Snape is impressed by our work, but comments something about Draco doing it all. I walk back to Draco, giving him a thumbs up. He smiled.I remember the first day I didn't sit with him at lunch. I had started feeling awkward around him, he was acting weird and less like a normal friend. I sat with Ivy, who was suspicious as to why I wasn't sitting with Draco, but enjoyed my company anyways. I couldn't bring myself to look at Draco the whole time. I kept my eyes on Ivy the whole time. While we were leaving I took a glance at Draco. I regretted everything.
