It is hard, to find friends showbiz. Well, the term friend, has multiple definitions in the business. There are the friends you know you could work with in a close setting. Photo shoots, videos, anything that has two people working together. The friends that has the contacts to know the right people. The friends you have to make your standing look better to others. Then there are the friends who will never feel guilty in throwing you under the bus to move ahead in the game. Finding an actual friend, is hard to find and harder to maintain. Sometimes, it happens naturally. Other times, you have to work for it, but that would only work if both sides work for it. In the end, having that friend beside you, makes everything work while. Felix learned that lesson far too late.

Felix has seen friends come and go as he grew up behind a camera's lens. His own father had him in small films in smaller parts as an infant to when he was tot. Then it became to larger films, but it was always small rolls or at least one where he won't be immediately recognize. His mother on the other hand, had him modeling. From catalogs, online shops, boutiques, and as an extra in a commercial.

He's... there, but never in the forefront. His parents had their own rising starts in the company that were far greater than himself. He's simply the company's heir, and shows talent on being in front of the camera. But it became apparent he prefers to do other avenues in the industry.

(Broadway, but that's a story for another day.)

When Felix first met Adrien, he knew he should have ignored him. Adrien wasn't worth to be any sort of friend to Felix. Yet, finding out their respective families were connected, it made things difficult to ignore the overly optimistic blonde. Adrien wanted to become friends with everyone, as much as Felix weeded out the type of friends there were, it became apparent that Adrien did not seem to care for the warnings.

It had gotten to the point, Felix grew not to care. There was no point in trying to change Adrien's mind. And with Adrien attempt to push Felix to be the same, put a strain between the friendship. Friendship.

Things turn bad when someone, a kid their age named Cody, decided to use Adrien for their own gain. A twist in fate, it was to use Adrien to get Felix to use his parents. While Adrien's family is part of the fashion and movie world, Felix's family is geared towards Broadway, photography, and marketing. Adrien wanted to use Felix for his own gain. He fully knew that getting to Felix is a no go, Felix doesn't want anything to do with him.

So, Cody decided to use Adrien to a foot in as Adrien is friends with Felix. That was when Felix started to see this brat started to exclude him in jobs. One example, Cody mentioned that Felix's mom needed him during a middle of a photo shoot. Being a dutiful son, Felix went out to look for his mom and when she saw him, she questioned why he wasn't at the photo shoot. Felix quickly returned to see Cody had taken his place. This is just the first even of many, and his parents started to see it too when he brought it up to them.

His parents started to exclude Cody in their work, much to the other teens' dismay. Cody decided to use his trump card, and talked to Adrien. Adrien, being Adrien, did not seem to comprehend what Cody has been doing. Well, that's not exactly right. He knew what Cody was doing, and smiled and went along with it. Not even bothering to defend Felix.

Felix did not care, all that much. What he did care, is the fact Adrien is allowing Cole to do the same thing to the other employee's of his parents company. That was when Felix knew he had to push back. Yet... Adrien and his parents were nonchalant about it all.

"He's a great guy, Felix. Just give him a chance." Adrien insisted, tugging on Felix's shirt sleeve. Felix stared at Adrien's reflection as he put on the final touches on his outfit. His expression never changing. "Adrien, he wants to take my part in the commercial."

Adrien momentarily frowned before putting back on a smile. He reached over and placed his hand on Felix's shoulder. "Come on, Felix."

Reaching over, Felix swatted Adrien's hand off his person. "You are asking for me to give my part in this job, which already has been signed, just to give it to Cole? You're delusional."

"It's important you play along Felix."

"Never."

-.-

Felix's mouth went agape as he's being reprimanded for something that he had nothing to do. Somehow Cole managed to convince someone that Felix had ran off and that he should be his stand in. As Cole is talented, and Adrien backed him up.

None of that was true, as somehow, Felix was locked in his dressing room and only managed to escape after some random worker saw that a chair was used to keep the door shut closed. Felix arrived to see a disaster on the set. Cole messed up so badly, that the director called it off along with the company that hired them to do the commercial.

"That brat and your bastard of a son, locked locked my son in his dressing room and lied about him running off. So before you start with your, holier than thou attitude. Remember that you need us, we don't need you." Mr. Lachance grounded out. "I've warned you that your son is delusional and the brat you insist on being the next Fabio, has horrible people skills and acts like a peacock on stilts."

"That's just an insult to all peacocks around the world." Mrs. LaChance snorted. "This is on you, Agreste. Not us, especially not my son."

Felix left behind that world, his parents continued on but pulled back from anything that had anything to do with the Agreste. Even with his name cleared, he still had that hanging over his head. No point in trying to prove people wrong, it was just a waste of time. At least he could take some enjoyment in seeing Cole being blacklisted and even the Agreste had turn their backs on him. Adrien was just a friend that used others to keep up with that disillusion of his.
