I still have trouble comprehending and believing it happened

So it was the end of the night basically
The dance ended at 11
And people started leaving around 10:30-10:40
And like it cleared out so fast too
My friends left before me
We said bye and stuff
Then I was left alone HAH
I also went to the dance alone
Just with myself

Not even with a friend group HAHA

So I stayed longer and sat down at my table looking around
I went and said bye to people
My other best friend was still there
She came up to me and told me she was gonna ask someone to slow dance with her again
She wanted one last dance with him cuz he is also a senior
She suggested that I ask C— to dance with me 
I was like ahaha no I'm- I have no balls HAHA
So I followed her cuz neomu lonely
I silently cheered her on as she asked him and danced with him
I legit stood there on the dance floor
Alone
Silently clapping
By this time the room was like almost completely
Clear of people
There was like no one else on that dance floor besides those two and maybe one more couple
I can't remember pfft
The last song that played was Bohemian rhapsody HA

Anyways I'm just standing there alone awkwardly
And here comes C—
He walked up to my friend and her guy
He's like really close friends with her guy by the way
They came to prom together and stuff cuz
Friends pfft
So he said something to him I guess
Again can't remember clearly
Then C proceeds to turn around and walk towards me
And I'm like oH-
I was really hoping he would
But it still took me off guard
Like he actually did it??
And then we danced :))
We talked
Oh like this night was the first time we have ever talked to each other in real life too
So as we slow danced we just shyly tried to talk to each other,
Again heh.
I tried to look him in the eyes whenever I looked up at him

I can't hold eye contact
And neither could he haha

I truly had never felt so short
Cuz I've never been so so close to someone where I physically had to lift my head up so much

We both didn't know how to dance so we just followed our pair of friends next to us
He spun me around

And we held hands or whateverrrr when we danced ;)

I got ready to leave and stuff
Then C and his friend that danced with my friend
were like

I was like hell yeah babe

In a black dress
And him in a black suit
No cuz we matched
Black is easy to match with but
We both wore all black

Long story short I finally got my first romantic moment ever
Slow dancing with the guy I like
Without even going after him

He has been adamant about not doing anything in front of his friends or school related
Like anything with me
But that night contradicted me everything he had done or said
So what changed his mind
I guess it was me 🙄 HAHA
I just looked too good that night and he was like

Now I go contemplate on how I won't see he at school next school year...
But whatever we're going on cute dates and hanging out during the summer <3
