My skill impressed sly. It was written all over him. It made me happy. Sly then looked around before saying.
Sly: "I believe it's time that my training ends. Meet me back at the shelter for your last lesson."
Sly said before dashing away quickly. I was confused about why he didn't walk with me. I shrugged and then ran to the shelter.
/Time skip./
I walked to the shelter and found Sly sitting there smiling, I walked over to him and fell down in exhaustion. Sly went over and picked me up with ease, he then brought me to the shelter and laid me down on the bed.
Sly: "You can rest, son."
'Wait, did he just call me son!?' I looked at Sly, shocked. He called me son, he then chuckled. I felt tired... I then felt myself seep into my dreams.
I woke up and saw Sly making food, I sat up and smelt the food and started to get hungry. I walked up to Sly.
Excursion: "This meal is for the both of us?"
Sly: "Of course, it's not like I'm making a second plate of food for a ghost."
Sly said as he gave a plate of food to me, I looked at it hungrily... Then I realized I couldn't eat.
Excursion: "I'm full..."
I said to Sly, trying to not make it seem like I disliked his food, he grabbed the plate and then looked at me.
Sly: "You didn't eat in like three days, why don't you want to eat?"
Excursion: "Well, I can't physically eat."
Sly: "That's impossible, everyone needs to eat. Are you telling me that you went all of your life not eating?"
I looked at Sly, he tilted his head in confusion. I did not know how I was going to explain how I cannot eat... Some steam blew out from holes on the side of my body as I started to explain how my body works the best I can.
Excursion: "I don't require food in order to live, I uh... Just make the energy by myself."
Sly: "That doesn't make any sense."
Sly sighed as he put his hand on his head, he looked at me and then threw out the plate of food.
Sly: "Alright, I'll believe you but if you're lying, and you starve to death than don't blame me."
I nod as Sly walks out of the door, I follow him into the cold outside. Sly had impaled his nail into a piece of dead roots on the ground. He sat down on the root and then said.
Sly: "As I already said, this will be your last lesson, but before that I just want to see everything your body can do."
Excursion: "That sounds very wrong..."
Sly: "YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!"
I chuckled as a notification rang in my head, I opened up the system as it revealed its blue hovering screen in front of me.

I look at my wrists and then shoot some webs, Sly looked confused at how I could shoot webs. I then looked for other things I could show. I started to think about everything I knew about bugs... 'Since I'm part spider, then that means that the strongest part of my body should be my legs now.'
I looked around and found a large root that stood up still, I walked up to it and then kicked it with my leg. The tree broke and was sent flying until it hit a wall and causing a massive boom to ring out.
I tried to see if I could find anything else to show, but I couldn't. My quest was completed, Sly sat on the log with a shocked face.

Sly: "That was... Unexpected, well for your last lesson. I will teach you a Nail-Art, this is the hardest one, yet it is called the Dash Slash."
Sly got up and took his nail out of the dead root, he crouched down. White energy gathered into his nail, causing it to shine white. Sly put his foot forward causing snow to get pushed, he then dashed forward and sliced, causing a massive white streak to appear where he slashed at.
Sly: "The difference about this Nail-Art compared to the others is that it requires more focus to make sure the soul doesn't leave the nail too early and a good dash in order to work."
I nodded as I crouched down and let soul from the air soak into my blade. I started to focus on keeping the soul there, I put my foot forward and...
I lost focus, the soul poofed out of my blade in a spark of white. Sly did not look surprised at this, I walked back and tried to do it again... Poof gone once again, I lost focus and tripped onto the ground, losing the soul in my blade.
Again and again, I lost focus for stupid reasons. I couldn't get the perfect moment of concentration, my mind instantly dashes around. It was unfocused. Disorganized.
Snow fell onto my shoulder slowly, smoke calmly came out of my body as my heart thumped like a beating engine.
*Crunch*
I put my foot back and stabbed it into the snowy ground, Sly kept his nail as his side he was asleep. I put my hand on the handle of my big nail, white speckles spawned in the air. They twinkled before rushing into my nail, the nail shone and became a beautiful white color.
I took a deep breath....
My senses sharpened as much as my nail has been, my nail was my arm. I was my nail. A burst of snow came from behind me as I dashed forward, my focus never leaving. I brought my nail back and prepared to slash, my nail sprung forward and created a massive white streak that tore through the snow and air.
Sly: "E-eh, what happened?"
Sly said as he stirred awake from the sound, he looked around confused before his big eyes landed on me standing there having completed the Nail Art.
Silence befell us as my training had finally come to an end...
