I was so excited that we pulled the surprise off and that Kayden's parents made it to North Carolina and to our Saturday get-together.

After dinner Pria and Dane went and got Kayden's jeep and followed us home.

When we pulled up Pria was smiling from ear to ear. "I love this place."

"I knew you would mom. Come inside and then we can go to the deck."

We showed them to their room and took Lauren and Coleman to theirs before going out on the deck.

"This view is something else," Dane said.

"I need a summer beach house, Dane." Pria laughed.

"I have a feeling I am going to have to buy a place."

"Dad wait until you watch the sunset. We come out here every evening and watch the sunset."

"Sometimes we walk on the beach and go down to Cookie Grounds," I said.

"We must go there before we leave Dane!" Pria said.

"Remi drops by often and brings cookies." Kayden laughed.

"That cake was the bomb." Colman laughed.

"There is more in the kitchen. You never leave a dinner without a bunch of leftovers." I smile.

"You guys want a beer?" Kayden asked.

"I can't Kayden." Lauren smiled.

"How about a lemonade Lauren?" I asked.

"Sure let me help you." She smiles.

We walk in and I grab a couple of glasses of lemonade.

"Thank you for making my brother so happy. I have never seen him like that before."

"He makes me very happy too if you can't tell."

"Your family is great. I love the Saturday eating thing."

"Maybe start something when you go back home?"

"That's a good idea with a baby coming."

I grabbed the guys a beer and got lemonade for me, Pria and Lauren carried her own.

We returned to the deck and I passed the drinks out and sit beside Kayden.

I smiled over at him. "Happy Birthday."

"Thanks, Tiger." He leaned over and kissed my face and I looked over at Pria and she was gushing with pride. I think she just wants him happy and she can tell he is with me.

We watched the sun go down and everyone was taking pictures besides Kayden and me.

"This is gorgeous!" Pria said.

"Can we walk down in the sand?" Lauren asked.

"Of course, we can. You guys want to walk down to cookie grounds?"

"Yeah, we all want to go." Coleman laughed.

"I will lock up the house." Kayden smiled.

We all grab our partners and walk hand in hand down the beach and when we reach Cookie Grounds Hunter smiled.

"Hey Julia, Kayden!"

"Hey, Hunter! We brought Kayden's family down for cookies and slushies."

"Well, I can get anything you want."

"I am Pria Kayden's mom and I want four of each one so we all can try them."

I walked around the counter and got Kayden and me a strawberry and chocolate mint and some slushies since we already knew what we wanted and went outside to sit under the umbrella table.

"They will buy every cookie in the place." Kayden laughed.

"Oh well they make them fresh daily and at the end of the day they just take the rest home so they probably are tired of cookies." I smiled.

Lauren walked out with Coleman with a few cookies in her hand and a purple slushy. "These are to die for."

"As good as the cake?" Kayden asked.

"Oh gosh, the baby loved the cake." She laughed.

Kayden looked over at me and smirked. "You will have to buy some and have them shipped home."

"I may need to do that. They ship right?" Lauren asked looking concerned.

"They do but if not I'll send you some Lauren but in return, I need baby pictures." I smiled.

"You are going to be a great Aunt Julia."

"Aww, I feel honored." I smiled.

Kayden squeezed my legs just as his mom and dad walked back out with several boxes of cookies.

"Looks like we bought them all." Pria laughed.

"I told you, Tiger." Kayden laughed.

We all walked back up the beach and right in front of the house we sit down in the sand to eat our cookies and drink our slushies.

"This really is the life no wonder you wanted to move here Kayden." Dane laughed.

"It wasn't just for the view dad." He smirked.

"Oh, I know why you wanted to be here." He smiled.

Kayden puts his arm around my neck and pulls me close to him. He kissed the side of my face and whispered in my ear.

"I love you, Tiger."

I smiled over at him. "I love you too Kayden."

He leaned in for a soft kiss and I kissed him back. He makes my heart flutter with his small touches. I could care less that his mom and dad and sister and brother-in-law were near us.
