Sabine x Reader

"Please don't hurt me"

Hooves thundered and sweat dripped as you and Red were drawing closer to Sabine and Khaan.
The sun was beating down on you but the wind was in your hair, cooling you a bit.

Now you and Sabine were right next to each other, perfectly parallel. You glanced over to her and she did the same, her expression seemed surprised at how close you were but she quickly averted her eyes and kept to her course.

The finish line was there, you could see it and you two were headed straight for it, but you crossed it just before her.

You couldn't believe it you had raced Sabine and you won against her. Red was panting so you dismounted and patted his neck.
"Good boy Red" you quietly congratulated him for running his fastest.

Then you raised your head to look over at Sabine and she looked furious, her eyes were ablaze and she quickly dismounted and stalked towards you. Once she reached you she fisted your collar and yanked you into a saddle room in the Jorvik Stables barn. She threw you into a corner and backed you into it.

Then it was quiet, nothing but you and her breathing, while her eyes were down you took this time to take in how she looked, her rogue strands of hair sticking to her face, her heavy breaths you feel just inches away from your face, you could feel her energy, and she was red hot.

You then decided to make a move and whispered through raspy pants "Please don't hurt me."

Her eyes raised to look at you and her expression changed, in fact the mood of the whole scene changed.

"Oh Y/N, I could never, I'm sorry if I made you think that, it's just been a very long time since someone has beat me, I'm amazed honestly" she explains gently to you.

You didn't realize that you had been holding your breath and you let out a sigh of relief with her words. She then straightened herself up and backed away from you.

"Well you've got what you wanted, I won't go near the Sunfield's farm anymore" She spoke a little louder, in her usual stern voice.

You straighten up as well and gain a bit of confidence to say, "That's not what I wanted Sabine."
